Now now tell me , why should I at 45 years old be inconvenienced because some parent let ther kids surf the internet without a seatbelt and helmet.

Sorry for the rant, I am just sick of this fucking nanny shit.

Use smaller shot and aim high. If there standing close enough next to a tree or a limb, shoot the tree instead... It's called Barking...

Don is from the UK, unless very privileged, we do not have the choice of changing shot size. We can chose to either buy the bird, or not buy it.

being from the northern/scots border i can and have enjoyed shoots and stuff but not like the proper knob end ones with guys being fed sausages on horseback drinking port or whatever out of thimbles wearing 800 squid tweeds.

TT that's not strictly true, i know a man who organises hunts up near the border ;)

Lucky for some. Hunts down this way are rather expensive, and the ones i went on, insurance was mandatory, something i don't think i'd get any more given my record. By privileged though, i more meant as in the few folk who can get out and find or go on a hunt, not as in privileged with money. Although when i was a bit younger, i went out on Mapperton Estate, dorm mates uncle is the earl of sandwhich, and the pheasant hunt was just like that, no horses though. Just a couple of landrovers full to bursting with spirits and shotguns. Not my kinda thing.

I would hate living in america, but damn would i love to be able to just go out and get myself some dinner. can't even catch a trout without a damned license!

Very sorry to hear that tip top toker. I personally live in a log cabin in the woods on 40 acres and am able to hunt it and all the farmers properties that border it. I don't even have to have a license to hunt my own property, or a license to own a firearm outside of a pistol permit.
