I've had a nice flank steak cooking in the crockpot for hours now with some peppers, onions and a bunch of spices. Every window open in the joint and it still smells up the whole house, I love it. Hell, the neighbors probably do to.

It was a Xmas gift but it was very pricey think 100 odd £ its pricey enough for me to use the back off it to chop on and the front to serve cheese n crackers etc on!

2para I had a can of torpedo last week shits delish, nice choice guys.
I'm in Rome carbing myself up big time, not to mention trying to eat the place dry of gelato! Been eatin fantastic stuff. Bakeries here are immense.
Last two are from a little place called la scala in trestevere. Asparagus with smoked cheese and black truffle with lots of butter and fillet with balsamic reduction. Beautiful doesn't do it justice, serenaded by a 3 piece string band ( double bass player's collecting change )and a walk along the Tiber.
If you've never been you should get to Rome.

Found an awesome craft beer joint there too! Bir & fud, plenty awesome beers and nice bait too. Missus had dates stuffed with sausage meat on creamy mash with a sweet glaze.
I had a burger and hand cut chips and shoe lace fries.
Beer list was impressive.
