Sorry if I keep creating to many new threads,
I just feel sometimes there getting ignored.. Ill stop.

Whats the problem?
It started out looking great, then the 2 first sprouted leaves became brown. The plant started its foliage alot, but the leaves got worse and even created new yellow tipped leaves.. Not to mention also, the plant is at least 3-4 weeks in and its definately not as big as it should be.

Where is it being grown at and under what conditions?
The plant WAS being grown in one of those larger sterilite plastic tubs with 2 built in fans on each side, one was blowing in, the other was blowing out. 175w Flourescent EcoBulb light :? , and was being fed water and little to none of deluted miracle gro. The walls, ceiling and floor were all matted with aluminum foil and the plants were chillin in some cheap ass dirt you find at the dollar store. Finally, as for the strain used? I finally came across a good sack of weed in this shitty state of ohio and took a few seeds from that bag for this project.

The plants NOW,as of tonight is sitting on a open fairly decent size shelf with 175w flourescent ecobulb, transplanted into Black Gold potting soil, and I am no longer using any miracle gro or aluminum foil and have no more intentions to
.

Im pretty sure I covered alot of questions i'd be asked except PH levels, if there IS anymore questions I know ill be asked.. so ask away. THANKS! :blsmoke:
Cheers :joint: to all the smokers, tokers and growers alike.

My Plants did the same thing at this stage. I got a little too excited and put nutrients in early and burned them. When i first saw it i stopped and gave them just water and they grew just fine.

Your plants seem to have the same problem mine had a little bit ago. It was because I added nutrients too early. What I did to solve this was transplant into a starting soil. JIFFY's is the best I think. The soil is real light so the roots can move around much easier. After a few days the plant started to regain strength and color. After about a month transplant your babies into some 3 month slow releasing nutrient soil. As Mogie always says, the rule of thumb is no nutrients for the first month. I hope this will help your problem and wish you the best of luck in your grow! Let us know what happens. Don't go buying that cheap ass dollar store soil lol!!

You've over-fertilised them. No need to feed within the first 3-4 weeks - there should be plenty of nutrients resident in the soil.

You know, you get out of these plants exactly what you put into them - if you give them shit soil to grow in they'll grow poorly, if you abuse them and don't look after them - they won't grow well.

Use good quality soil - the best you can afford, mix in some perlite to help with drainage, learn and understand how to water your plants properly, learn and understand the signs the plants give you as to what nutrients and when to feed them, give them a nice well ventilated environment with good temperature ranges for lights on and off - 20c - 28c and they'll reward you.

There's no substitute for learning and understanding the basics - it's a steep learning curve if you're trying to learn by doing.

Well, what you all said makes alot of sense to me and I have takin the info into deep consideration. As for me transplanting it last night, I think I went about it COMPLETELY wrong.. When I went to transplant, I didnt know if that large nasty clump of dollar general soil on the roots would be good to mix with some actual good soil, so I did what came to mind as nothing bad, and ran it under the water (without thinking about it at the time) I forgot to let the water warm up some.. so it was basically freshly turned on cold water. The roots all clumped together because of the weight of the water and I was like shit.. This couldn't be good because when I put it back in the soil the roots will be like, what the fuck is goin on? No room to breath or spread out, I could be wrong and the plant could naturally fix this, but all in all I feel I just fucked this up.. This morning when I woke up and checked on it, the plant looks all droopy and bad. I hear about peoples plants picking up after shock and regrowing with no problems, but as for what I did with the roots I feel I basically just murdered my plant. Any opinions? Critisism and suggestions are deeply appreciate it.

As for my other young ones started, they were transplanted to the same soil I put my dieing plant in. Black Gold potting soil that I bought from a hydroponic store for 20$. They are looking vibrant same as last night, so they are still doing ok (wipes sweat from face)...

Don't worry, just a beginner's mistake. I have sort of done what you did in the past, but without the water lol. In an old grow the soil was so hard and dense that the plants didn't grow at all for about a week. When I transplanted I had to dig the roots out. After I dug them out I held them over the trash can and carefully tapped all of the hard dirt off the roots. They were droopy the next day, but they went on to be a great crop!!

Your plants should perk up as marijuana plants are troopers. They can put up with a lot of stress. You don't really have to worry about mixing some of the old soil with new soil. That's what people do when they transplant. As long as the old soil is not contaminated you're golden! Anyway, hopefully everything turns out okay for you. What soil are you using now???

No FAQ is not 101 already asked questions. It is much more explicit and detailed. If you need help this is the place to go the upper left hand corner of this page. You will see GrowFAQ. Click on that.

Black Gold, the shits outside in my girlfriends trunk so I couldn't give you its ingredients but I heard alot of good things about it. I couldn't decide between Black Gold and Fox Farms when I was at the Hydroponic store. The Black Gold was just a little bit more expensive so I bought that in thought it would be better quality...

As for the roots, I seriously doubt it will make it for what I did to it.

I through together a quick picture example of how the roots looked when I transplanted it, and like I said (quick picture) I didnt draw in every damn little root and ridges of the leaves. Just an example.

After all the dirt was washed away with cold ass water  The roots kinda matted to themselves from the weight of the water, and I heard to not touch the roots with your fingers, and I didnt wana take a nasty object and fuck around with the roots and damage them just to spread them apart, so I dug a perfectly sized hole in the pot and place the small dieing plant in the hole with the roots still pretty much matted together. Wouldn't you think with it having so many roots already formed and placed back in dirt all together like that wouldn't it have trouble continueing its rooting process? Thats why I considered my first grow, gone.

Today when I woke up it looked like pure shit. Like my plant was going to die and rot away on me... I continued giving it light till about 4 then gave it its dark period untill 9 then turned back on the lights and fed it, but at 9 when I came to check on it. Its ALOT better than even before I thought I killed it...
The brown spots are still there but I believe they will go away now as the plant is no longer droopy but actually standing pretty strong.

Pics attached.

I am glad your plant is looking better!! Congratulations! That was probably a big relief for you. As for the brown spots going away, I don't think they will. They are more likely to fall off....well that's what mine did. Just like if your burned the shit out of your plant, even if you fixed the light, the part of the plant will look burnt all the way until harvest. Anyway...keep up the good work!!
