What's going on here?

Only this 1 stem has tip has this going on including the purple stripe on it. At first I thought the bud had purple but it's black.

Looks like some flying bug layed some eggs and they hatched.Does it smell like the rest of the plant? If it was my plant i would cut it out a few inches below and trash it.

Hmm, can't remember which ones but I have been peeling leaves apart that were webbed together at the tip. It's only the top few inches of the stem that's got a dark streak and 3 buds on that stem out of the whole plant, I'll chop it in the morning. Thanks

I have it also and it spreads. I not chopping though. At first it seemed to slow pistil production. Then it seems to to grow out of it and pistils start coming in white again. I only raise 4 plants a year to keep it at a misdemeanor level and that usually provides me enough to make it til the next season . This stuff has me concerned about yield ,too early to tell. My girls are in their 3rd week of flower, so terpenes have not really kicked in ,but given a little squeeze and aroma seems okay. I'll be following along and hope someone figures this out,it seems to be wide spread. (Ky) . I have been on ICMAG and people are reporting it there also. I'm going to see it to the end and see what it does
