Heyy check it out lol, I have one similar but it has a little more growth. Both pants in the pic started at the same time.

Then again these were bagseeds that I’ve had laying around. If anything my best guess with these kinds of seedlings is either an incomplete genetic pattern caused by a harvest that was too early or major stunted growth. I’ve read up on some forums that if the water ph is too acidic, it can cause mutations and of course iron toxicity. If your environment and soil are good, there should be no other reason why it grows like that, I could be wrong but these are just my opinions, I’ve only had two seedlings that came out like my abnormal one and even after a month, the plants barely exceeded two inches. I water with a ph of 6.5 and both plants in the first pic I provided are growing under the same conditions. As for the paper towel wrapped around one of them, I did this a couple minutes ago to soak up some excess water. I would just be patient and see how things look in another week or so unless you know one of your key elements are off.
