nothing is wrong, it was damaged physically somehow.
Damn that makes since! I was thinking the same thing but I wasnt sure, my friend was messing with my light the other day trying to find a better position for it and like an idiot he was being to rough and hit the plant. Then we went back to my idea.. don't even know what the hell he was trying to do. Is it gonna be ok though?

that's what i was going to say. it looks like it may have touched the light or something. it's completely fine. just judging from what's visible in the pic that plant won't even notice the burn spot. looks very healthy.

So when a leaf touches a light its ok? Ive been cutting leaves off that get burnt by my lights, should I be leaving them?
And thanks for your comments!

if your plant is getting burnt from your light common sense says to raise your light its not good for light to be touching leafs period whats your humidity in your room try to maintain humidity from 60 to 80 in veg and 40 to 60 in flower hope this helps you

Sorry I should of been more specific. It's my lights on the sides of the plant.. I can't even move them anymore, I'm running out of room so when the plant grows wider the bulbs on the side have burnt several leaves and I just cut them off. Don't know if its good or bad but its my first grow i'm still learning. I'll have a better setup next time for sure. And im in flower right now.. my humidity was at about 50-55% but now its gone up to 60%.. even with a dehumidifier.. will i be ok?

no reason to cut them but if you want you can.
Well another reason why I cut leaves is better light penetration.. ive read too many stories on cutting/trimming and its starting to confuse me. I mean its still growing nice so it couldnt of hurt to bad but I watched a jorge cervanes video yesterday and he says never cut any leaves unless there dead. I went way past that line because I trimmed the shit out of my plant but I thought it was neccessary because im only using cfls so I know I need better light penetration. nd I heard when you trim side branches off it works harder on main buds.. is this true? I cut 4 side branches off because they were skinny and didn't look like they were gonna produce much.

you heard right, but I'd still leave as many leaves as I could

Let me know what you think of my plant man! These pics were taken at 50 days but now its going on to day 52..
what I'm seeing that really don't like is the lack of reflectors on your bulbs most of your light is going to waste. Get some disposable oven roasting pans or aluminum pie plates so all the light is getting bounced onto the plants. You could clean out some of that smaller growth and buds but seeing as you're side lighting it would have to be just stuff deep inside the core of the plant.
Nice looking plant BTW nows the time to give all the light you can afford.

I can probably go get mylar tomorrow if its really worth it.. what do you think? And I'm getting 2 more lights tomorrow. Will it make a big difference in m yield?. Thanks for your comments! Im pretty happy about it for my first grow, but I just hope its good in the end

mylar won't work you need metal reflectors strapped right behind the bulbs. Every watt of light energy you add will add more weight to your final harvest.
