What's more important, temp or RH?

I can only seem to get the RH down if I let the temps go up to the mid to high 80s... then my RH is around 65, otherwise it's in the 70s... so do I let the temps climb and just try and dehumidify as much as I can? Or run the air conditioner and try to get it cooler...?

Depends if your plant is Mold resistant as mine are temp brings more stress to the plant but rh is the cause of bud rot, mine are Mold resistant and it sits in the 60’s rh no problem

What is the temp/RH outside the tent? Inside tent? Do you have much airflow through the tent?

Run an air conditioner its also gona lower the RH - Normally a AC will also dehumidify as well as lower temps, that is where your condensation comes from. The air coming from the AC will be colder and its RH will be high but once it mixes with the ambient air and it goes up in temperature the RH is going to drop.

You in veg or flower?
two tents in flower... I went out and bought a 14,000 BTU air conditioner and installed it in the grow room. I had to bust out a window to install the vent, but I'm so happy I did... my temps in the tents now 78 and RH 56 with the lights off, low 80's and RH in the 60s now with lights on - what do you think? Should that be okay?

My last two plants had bud rot but my temps and RHs were in the high 80's and high 70's... total setup... much better in there now... but I'm spending a goddam fortune trying to save money growing weed lol

Much better but another 10% drier if you can manage. RH <60 to prevent PM and bud rot.

I wouldn't worry much over the temperature in the tent. Leaf temp is more important. Gotta think of how hot it can get outside in places like Mexico, Africa, Asia.. Also, you'll probably be chasing your tail trying to get your humidity much lower. Just keep the temps up and plenty of air movement. Last run my RH would get as high as 82% during lights out, with 65-70% being the norm during lights on. Only lost 3 tops to mold, and not even the entire top. Got a 70pint dehumidifier and added another fan beneath the canopy. Not going to worry about it anymore. Wasn't too bad last time, should be fine next time
