What's so Blueberry about Blueberry?

Not any particular breeders strain of blueberry, just blueberry in general.
Is it the taste or the smell that is like blueberries? I'm growing some now that have about 3 weeks to go and I don't smell anything "blueberry" about them.

now dont quote me on this bro, but i think it has someting to do with the thc levels, ive seen pictures of so called blueberry haze buds and the pictures i saw gave the buds a blueish tint because of the amount of thc on them, it could also be due to watering it with watered down blueberry juice, ive smoked some bud thats been fed mango before. enjoy your harvest man :bigjoint:

I've had Blueberry( smoked not grown) and it tasted like blueberries and smelt fruity. When i fired my rocket up i knew it was blueberry and had an intense taste to it. Not sure if it was another breed but i knew it was blueberry of some sort

ive had what the dealer said was blueberry a fair few times and my m8s allso agreed it was blueberry and as far as i can tell nothing is blueberry about blueberry but it is a very nice smoke and get you off your rocket im sure youl enjoy it, its a must for any canabis connoisseur

One of the my favorite tasting strains, would love to grow some but I have to find a good seed source for them.

when ive had blueberry its had a VERY clear blueberry flavor, not that overpowering "fruity" sweet smell that other strains are known to have. it also has a very relaxed, euphoric high

blueberry is definitely one of my favorites. all the ones ive had have tasted very strongly of blueberries and smelt very fruity. i have also seen some with blueish/purple hues in the buds as well.

okay what makes plants smell like they do and what makes them taste like they do.... The Terrapins produced in the resin of the Bud is the same terrapins produced in the natural world one of the most common occuring terrapin in bud is Alpha pinene which gives that piney smell/taste terrapins are another base of the understanding of the relation between cannabis and its effects on the brain

yes blueberry smells and tastes of blueberry. I have never had it which frustrates me as it is been the one strain ive always wanted to try but I have grown a blueberry x white rhino that smelled of blueberries and had some bubbleberry that had some blueberry scent. If you got a true blueberry plant you should be able to rub the stem even when the plannt is young and smell it also should see some purples in the stem(my blue rhino had it) The term blueberry is used loosely imo for instance every seed bank has a blueberry or hybrid.

yah original dj short dp line blue dj short made the dp line of blue and yah its been around here for ages everyone loves to grow it around here i have a few bag seed going right now

My wife ordered a (5)pack of Dutch Passion Blueberry as a Christmas present for me.My question for everyone is.1#Does this strain respond well to topping?Out of the (5) I ended up with (3) females.I have read so many different stories about this strain & each one is different.Just hope someone out there in RIU land could give me a few pointers on this strain & what to expect?Also,is it true this strain only like Light nutes?Any information from someone with first hand experience would be helpful.Happy Farming everyone!

dutch passion have blueberry, i am currently growing 9 2nd/3rd gen clones from a DP blueberry seed.

im pretty new to growing and this is the only strain ive grown so far but had some real good results with it, 13oz from 2 plants in soil, and a friend has grown this strain outside in the u.k summer and yielded 5oz. Its a good smoke and a real strong plant.

think the name comes from the fact it cures to a blueish colour and taste/smells fruity.

pic is the outdoor blueberry from DP

oh and ive seen this plant topped a few times now and from my experience it responds very well. the plant in the pic was topped. And also seems to like the nutes my 9 DP clones have been responding very well to bio-bizz grow.

blueberry definately has some fruity taste and smell.I had kushberry o.g kush x blueberry mix and it smelled very fruity and blue hues to it as well..

there are soo many knockoff blueberry strains and old genes flooding the seedbanks today its really hard to find that true connasseur blueberry strain with that punch.

dj short provides a great blueberry strain

but if you want that next level true connasseur smoke look into dj shorts new revamped true blueberry.

its a sour skunky blueberry and ive found a pheno in his pack that is just a sex:bigjoint::bigjoint:

hear is some pics of my current dutch passion blueberry grow the 2 bigger plants were runts from a friends grow which im hoping to rescue, and the smaller 2 are 2 of 7 dp blueberry clones.

think the 2 smallest are looking a little stretched but conditions havant been perfect and also they have only been in soil for 8-9days.

and the bigger 2 were looking real bad when i got them so aint expected great things from them just couldnt throw away 2 fems.

7 clones have been under a 250hps for 8-9 days

and the 2 bigger plants ive had them under a 600hps for the same amount of time, dunno what light my friend started them 2 on.

Blueberry around here tastes like you just tried to down a bottle of blueberry syrup, very overpowering blueberry taste and smell. Pretty sure the blue around here is DJ Short's original.

Thanks sambo & smokinmayne for the info.From what I can see @ this point.All (5) of mine are developing nut's!I just cant belive these high priced so called feminized seed's are 100% male!Guess I need not waste money buying a lotto ticket eh?That certianly is a beautiful lady you have there sambo.Thank's again.

Are you sure? I never heard of getting males from feminized seed. I would double check her order and see if she didn't order the wrong shit. Where did she get them from?
