I have run every hydro method except NFT and I have done in between 4 plants and 10 plants at a time. Certainly not a huge grow but I would not EVER do anything but RDWC. I have yet to see another method produce a better result in terms of overall speed, vigor and yield than RDWC.
can isee some pics of your rdwc, do you run airstones in main res or pots? or niether, thanks.. flood n drain seems to be the easiest for me

i guess I just don't see how it works. It seems high maintenance and experimental and like something you might not want to do for 100 plants

The only prob I have with rwdc is the constant ph fluctuations. Are you using a Current Cukture type thing?

Best and most simple method ive tried yet and it works great.

Instead of drip, I spray from the top using low pressure mist heads. I can adjust for as many or as few feedings per day (as well as amount of nutrient spraying per cycle) as the plants can handle
Instead of coco, I use a combination of ornamental stones (as a top cap) and lava rock below for root development/retention
Air Pots for many reasons
I do not find D2W necessary until mid-flower, when the runoff and pH get crazy
It's all reusable for many years to come.

commercial size hydro grow may require alot if not more maintenence than soil[pH testing, ppm,changing rez. etc]. besides that, if you factor in speed/size then you cant go wrong with bucket drip because it utilizes up to 5 gallon buckets, providing alot of space for the roots which is essential for larger plants. also its very easy to set up more so than the others IMO
Flood an drain IWS do a 48 Pro version. Which is easy to look after an maintain.
The most important bit is u need to have your grow area dailed in an have complete control over everything.
Once u have complete control anything is easy from two pot set up to 100 pot set up!
