I would recommend looking into growers choice. I currently run growers choice lighting and they are good for flower and veg. And one thing to keep in mind is customer service. They have great customer support. Just my 2 cents.

Currently I’m growing in two 2x4 with a mars sp3000 in each.
Remote ballasts, and dimmers.
The plan is to get two more and have all four in the 4x8.

Why do I not see HLG on this list? I don't know much but been looking into lights and please correct me if I am wrong but it seems they're very good quality they help grow great weed and have special whatever stuff?

I was looking at this : https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/lamps/products/hlg-320-rspec-fr

I have a 3x4x6.5 ft. closet I grow in and was thinking (and being told) there wouldn't be a better choice than this?

Probably because they’re overpriced for what they are. Not gonna argue that they’re not good lights, they are, but really they’re no better than your mid range mar hydro, or spider farmers. I guess if you absolutely need more local warranty support it’s faster to deal with a us company. At 3x4x6.5 I’d probably go with a mars sp6500 dimmed down to 50-70%

Build your own with bridgelux strips and a driver from horticulture lighting group shop they got 600w drivers for $100
Or if efficiency is really important you can get a meanwell driver from cobkits.com for pretty cheap.
I use aluminum angle iron for heatsinks works fine but gotta get 1/8" thick not 1/16. I've built all except one of my led fixtures options are limitless and you can focus on your results unlike the corporation who's only focus is making a profit

Bruh I payed £200 for a ac infity fan £358 for a 4x8 £240 for a self water system £300 for 2 x1000w hps I’m dieing rn £350 for cutting and that’s not all‍♀
Someone's having your eyes out.. £358 for a 4x8?
Shouldn't need to spend more than £160.

If you don't have 2x £400 for a phlizon 600w LED, which is a budget light but performs well then spend the money on air cooled hoods and make sure you're venting outside.

Another option would be to switch to 600w hps instead of 1000s and save them till summers over

I have a philzon 100w LED (not sure which one) and a bloom plus xp3000 and what i am hearing is i don't need anything else. I use the philzon (because it was free) next to the bloom plus to give a little more light over to the side that doesn't get as much

Got a steal on a groplanner 640w 6 bar awhile back. Think I wound up shelling out 299 with coupon. Currently not seeing on Amazon anymore. Bars can be easily removed as/if needed. Only gripe is that the dimmer detents in 25% increments, although adding a dimmer controller resolves for full 0-10 volt control.

Ok after going to the groplanner site I see the 640w 6-bar light is 450.00, the 800w 8-bar is 600.00. Don't know if they ship free or not. Keep an eye out for Amazon if time permits. They run some pretty good discount coupons on this brand.
