What's the best portable AC unit for 2 metre tent

I am using a 2 metre tent for the foreseeable future, I had problems with temperatures last summer going to have to get a unit.
running two 600 watt under 1M parabolic reflectors . Ballasts outside the tent.

Doing the maths temperatures could reach 40 Celsius within the tent.

Looking on eBay Amazon there's quite a few portable units haven't clue which one would be strong enough.
Here's a model I found on Amazon, is it strong enough or too strong?
Heres unit I found on Amazon that'd would interest me..

Should be alright. Are you going to put it in the tent or in the room the tent is in?

I'd put it outside the tent the rig ductwork from where the unit blows and route it into the tent. That was you cool your tent but don't take up floor space in there. Just an idea.

Yeah haven't thought about that it's going to be pretty tight the way it is

I seen this other unit cost a bit less.. Would it be strong enough

It mentioned in the description the unit needs to be connected to a window to discharge hot air . My question is can I discharge through vent in my grow tent to the room the tent is in.
can't have open windows for obvious reasons
you can but you will be heating the room. i vent my light to my room and that warms it up significantly, good in winter if you are not worried about your humidity going up slightly.
one grow i used an air co like this (one below) facing in my tent/closet and out under a futon witch provided insulation and dispersed the hot air enough to cool it a little, the mattress would hold heat for long enough for to change it from hot air flow to warm mattress and a window brought in fresh air. so like i said you can but you will have to manage more heat and need more cooling power to cool that heat so you get a of feed back loop and it takes more power.
what you do is use a curtain and a carbon filter and have the window locked open just enough to allow your air out but no bodys in.

Hey thanks for dropping in. ☺
Can you elaborate I'm using parabolic reflectors..advice went over by head .

wish I could leave the window open only vent I have is on the roof using it for the tent I have a 6 inch ventilation about 10 foot.
I was just thinking I live in a bungalow thinking if I could use ductin about 10 foot put it up near the other ducting ? .
Hmm I'll have to think bout it have time ,

i will think later too. parabolic reflectors? idk i just mean if yo must vent in room you can take measures to trap and dissipate the heat esp by venting the room..
if you only have one hole..

Yes I think I may be able to do this only option really.
Would it affect the intake to the grow tent if I do, would portable AC have intake or outtake on this vent. Dumb ass question

i need to shop for one for sumer. someone said look or a dual hose , dual hose?, anyway so you can run a duct into a tent. i haven't seen one yet though so not sure. those like the one you showed have a duct hole out the back maybe a 6 " and a vent in front. i think we need one with the duct hole in back and an optional out duct hole.

"will it effect intake"
i am imagining hooking up two outflows to one out flow going to your ceiling vent you are using. so no it won't hurt the intake.
air cooled hoods for the lights keep temps down significantly.
what air is currently going out the vent?

I think I'm way off the Boil here I had a 6 inch cake dinky fan it was done the job last summer just about twice the lights now.
I have a 6 inch intake in a 2 metre tent this fan Pushes so much air in when the tent zipped up swells like balloon.
The temperatures in the tent with lights on 22-24 Celsius, I'm currently on 18/6 temperatures outside 10 Celsius.
Balance is OK now .
I don't have outtake I was going to get 8 inch outtake Soon as the temperatures start to rise. Should get it asap ,
What is this negative pressure I read about is it something to do with atmosphere,
so when I zip up my tent it fills up with air ..would this be negative pressure because I have no outtake ?.thank you @esh dov ets

i have a carbon filter attached to my light then to a fan pulling air through the filter across the light out the tent. negative pressure is the force that sucks in the tent walls. if you are blowing in thats positive air pressure that pushes the walls out.

This is current set up @esh dov ets , as you can see I have two 1m wide reflectors .
Right now everything's perfect soon as the temperatures rise I will be going towards 30 Celsius
When I get the outtake I was gonna just vent is into my attic. Will get this next week please God.
