the way to decide which outdoor strains to grow should be prioritized based on one's geographical location.

Agreed.
Oh and I also have grown GWS and I must say it rather like it, potent and delicious. But I have never grown it outdoors so how it well it will do is unknown to me.

They have taken a beating but still looking great.. Really strong plant, and they stink!

What is obvious to one person is not obvious to another, I meant no criticism's other than his lack of clarity in concept due to spelling issues. I am done now, I have no wish to argue any point statement or anything else. I merely stated that a lack of proper spelling makes a statement difficult to understand.

Barneys Farm 8 Ball Kush looks so good. Here's the description form my favorite breeders:
Barneys Farm 8-*Ball Kush is a mostly indica marijuana cross from the Barney's Farm seed collection. The origin of this strain goes to the Afghan and Pakistan mountains. Over years, Barney's Farm's seed breeders tried to combine the best qualities from the both parents in order to create an easy growing cannabis with heavy bud production. 8 Ball Kush is definitely a success of many years of selective inbreeding. Cannabis Seeds of this marijuana variety are extremely easy to grow. They are very resistant to mould and mushroom and cope fine with stress. They show a good 90% germination rate and produce healthy seedlings which can be put under a 12/12 light cycle straight away. Seeds of 8 Ball Kush are suitable for indoor and outdoor growing. When grown indoors, plants of this cannabis show great results in all sorts of setups, pots, soils and hydroponics. Matured plants are typically indica - they are really petite, just 60 cm, with a well developed x-mas tree shape. Edit: After further researching the strain and other RIU users experiences I found it may not have the most stable genetics. Would not as strongly recommend this anymore. I did look through the thread and the people you agreed with picked good strains. Best of luck.

Well kick me in the balls if the MOST important consideration here isn't the first frost date.
. I may have made a big error in planting a Super Silver and a Delahaze with a first frost average date of 10/20, I just might not make it with those two. A lot depends on where I get the info but I got 5 or 6 weeks to go.. Oh Dear jesus please let my plants ripen!!
Of course if frost does not occur where you are than god bless and go with a good old fashioned Skunk #1. A great combo of yield and potency.

Wow sniperx999 than you so more for sharing that information! You did quite a bit of research apparently, it's too bad the genetics are not stable. Otherwise it would have been a variety I would have loved to try.
Second I feel your pain RottedRoots ever since I moved out to the boondocks the higher elevation is causing it to get dang cold early and late in the year compared to my last place of residence. But I know a trick.... I am not sure how well it would work with a guerrilla grow though. Take a couple of wire hangers make a pair of loops to go around the plant kind of like a tomato cage. Or with small enough plant a tomato cage will do. Take a burlap sack and cover the plant on the night before the anticipated frost try to use a framing device such as wire hanger's to keep the burlap sack from touching the plant as much as possible. It will help prevent mold from the water evaporation and morning dew. Extended contact with a good dense bud and the burlap for extended periods... well if the burlap is soaked could eventually cause mold/mildew issues. But I tell ya what it has protected my tomatoes from some freaky early frost's. Bet it would work well enough with cannabis, and the burlap can be dyed green for camouflage. Oh and of course I would recommend removing the burlap as early as possible the next day, when you are sure there won't be any threat of frost for today. Oh and try to go for the most threadbare burlap ya can, allows more light penetration to keep the plant from getting confused about it's light cycle.
