What's the best time to start an outdoor grow?

It is good to know your zone for outdoor planting. I am in zone 5 (a). I just cut my outdoor clones this week and they will go outside in the ground the end of May first week of June depending on the actual weather at the time.

you are suppose to start them 6 weeks before you wish to place them outside (i know that's for veggies idk about dope really)
