Drying racks work great. The kind made from the mesh material that basketball shorts are made from or something similar. 50% humidity or a little lower but no higher than 50%. Once they are nice and crispy and the stems make that snap sound when you bend them you can throw them in jars to finish drying and start curing. You need to stay on top of them during the first week or two when they first go in the jars. Open the lid and wave the jar around to get fresh air to the buds. Make sure to smell them every time also. You can even dump the buds out of the jar and let them sit in the open for 5-20 minutes to dry up again. If you smell them and they have a musty smell take them out and let them dry for 30 minutes until they smell good again and feel dry then throw them back in the jars. Repeat this process opening the jars every couple of hours the first week and slowly extend the time the buds stay in the jar with the lid on. You will slowly work your way up from being in the jar for 2 hours at a time to a day at a time then several days and so on until you can leave them in the jars basically for as long as you want and that musty smell is gone and replaced with the smell of extremely dank weed. Once this happens your buds are officially cured. You can cure the weed as long as you feel like. Curing is done to get that awesome smell and smooth slow burning smoke that doesn't taste like hay or grass clippings. You will notice the stems turn from green to a grayish color and the buds also slightly change color. Curing gives the buds time to dry all the way through and it lets the chlorophyll break down and this is what gives you the smell and the flavor and smooth smoke you are looking for. Also proper flushing is very important if you want smooth smoking buds that don't snap, crackle and pop when your burn them. I flush until my fan leaves turn yellow and fall off on their own. My plants turn some crazy colors when they are flushed for this long. Buds taste like cotton candy
