whats the correct ph at what stages in nft?

Right, I know theres no definitive answer to this but here goes:

The way I used to do it is in veg, set ph 5.2 & it fluxuates up to the early 6's by the end of the week and then do a fresh tank change, then in 12/12 set it to 5.5 and let it fluxuate to 6.2 then add a bit ph down to bring it bk down, still with tank changes. At early flower id supplement with epsom salts to allow better uptake of mag as I think it doesnt get absorbed as good with ph under 5.8.

I recently decided against coco and going bk 2 nft, now when im researching nft people are saying to start at 5.8 in veg and let it flux to 6.2.

Whats peoples opinions??

You know what they say, if its working dont fix it! Id suggest being at 5.8-6.0 at all times though to avoid plants using the wrong ratio of nutrients. Means you can do less res changes in your system Between flushes.

I drop to 5.5 on a res change but let it rise to 6.4 before putting it back to 5.8 everything is available at some point then

Generally 5.5-6.2 for hydro. If possible let it drift through the range to maximize uptake of nutrients on either end of the scale.
5.8 but truth is I never fuck with my PH and have yet to see any nutrient lockout.
I second that my last grow I didn't ph one time they grew nice and our curing now .
What nute line are you running? After buying some AN "PH Perfect", I've been reading up on nutes and see that many nute lines, other than AN who advertises the fact, are being made to self buffer the solution if using decent base water, along with having heavily chealated ingredients that are available to the plant over a wider PH range.

I usually set mine at 5.6 and then I don't even check it again. Haha I'm lazy but so far it's going great.
