What's the deal with the black ash vs white ash thing?

I believe that clean burning bud comes from the cure. Not flushing. At all.
100% this in my opinion.

I grow organic and I get black ash if mine isn't dried properly either.

Maybe just coincidence but in my experience, most street weed is too wet anyway. I've always assumed it's because it would hold together better for transport, besides a little extra weight.

Slow even dry burns properly every time, organic or not.

All I give is water. Flushing is not really a thing
I dont really think the plants care what their nutrient source is. What I do know is most large scale growers that provide for dispensaries, dont do dick for curing. That's why almost every strain at the disp smells the same. It's not cured. Either dried too quick, or not dried and you're told it's real sticky. Not saying organic doesnt bring something to the table when it comes to flavor and smell, but I dont think it accounts for a cleaner burn at all

I feel like I'm out of the loop on this. Gotta be some bro science around it.
I havent ever smoked any pot that resulted in black ash. That includes the crap mexican brick. Has anyone a pic of this black ash?
I know that over the years most of what i have smoked wasnt flushed or even cured.

Seen black seeds by the hundreds, just no black ash from anything other than a generation joint

No pics. The four kinds of weed I have right now are white ash. I get black ash from dispensaries sometimes.

It's all about money. They want the product to be out to market quicker. I also read a study about brighter colored weed (less cured) actually selling better because it's attractive and most people have no idea.

Weird that you would get black ash from something that is tested for impurities. I dont like how dry dispensary herb is, but other than that it does the trick

Of course with profits in mind the idea is to preserve as much weight as possible while still allowing the bud to burn. My fully cured home grown is much drier than weed from a dispensary. It’s probably true they rush curing. I never really even noticed the difference in ash until I had to out source weed. I just got some very tasty and potent strains from a dispensary but I find myself dumping out the bottom of the bowl; it starts to taste kinda nasty only like halfway burned.
Im sure some strains/local growers are better than others. I think the local medical weed around here is the worst offender of this which you would think the opposite is true. It all tastes the same. I gotta run to a neighboring state and pay through the nose just to get decent quality commercial weed. You are right the plants don’t care where they get food but living soil does. Water only is the shit. Try it.
