Whats The dilly with All the Kush Crosses?

Im trying to understand... Why is everything so happy about all the kush crosses...?? King kush.. Bubba kush, Hindu Kush, Vanilla Kush, Pink kush, OG kush... And so on......

Ive gotten the chance to try all these strains in amsterdam over the past 2 years.. and Fell in love with none of them! the only 2 i would actually buy another gram of are og kush and hindu kush... but even then ... Why is everyone So excited bout these strains???
What i mean is, why is there not such a big fuss about Sour Diesel or New york diesel or amnesia haze??? These varieties are MUCH MUCH MUCH nicer to taste than any of the kush crosses???..

So whats your point of view?
Please note that i understand Tastes and colors cannot be disputed, but Cmon!!! U got to loooove all the diesel crosses...

Find out where Sour Diesel and NYC Diesel came from and you will have your anwser. :eyesmoke:

slapping the name kush on anything = hype = $$$$$ . give it a few years, the sheep will move onto something else.. bongsmilie

Uh!!there is no kush in any of these strains .....
new york diesel might have some kush in it.. but that is not guaranteed..Most afghan plants are not kush's..... and its a mexican sativa x afghan..
and sour d .. is again a mexican x chemo..

depends what you like.. in my experience, EVERY kush cross i have had just relaxes me to a point where everything is peaceful. and i found this to be a powerful trait of the og kush especialy. banana kush as well with a little bit of a paranoid side that was kept in check by the kush side of the plant. i think kush is good for any new smoker because it wont make them trip out.. its really one of the best plants to use for medicinal purposes. (anxiety, nausea, insomnia..) if you are a big pothead these might not be your top pics unless you just want to relax.

Look up Hindu Kush mountain range and the countries that it stretches across. Pakistan and Afghanistan etc. It's just a region of where that weed was grown that gave it the name. Do we call all Indica, Kush? No. Not the kind from Tibet or Morocco.

Mexican would explain the Sativa traits and Afghan the Indica/Kush traits. :leaf:

Ok the hindu kush mountains only cover about 5-10% of afghanistan... U cannot say that the afghan used in new york diesel is for sure from the kush area anyway..
And im sure alot of bud is grown in that part of afghanistan, but alot of it grows outside that region.. in anycase there all mostly indicas and afghanicas... and i dont like the varieties where Kush is in the name.. although i like many strains that had afghans in em.. Like mazzar:) beautifull afghan genetics but no one knows from what part of afghanistan.. I dont see why anyone should call it Mazzar Kush..

anyway .. it doesnt really matter.. I just find the current strains with Kush in their names are over rated..;)

I agree that every breeder is jumping on the Kush train and the genetics either aren't there at all, or very watered down.

If you get the real deal, it's unmistakable though.

P.S. People still link O.G. Kush to California, even though all of the State isn't Ocean front property.

once again, purple is a color... Flavor is what we want! I love purple looking strains too... but thats to get my eyes high...
I know there are very very strong purple strains.. but then again all bud can go purple if the temps drop properly during night phase:)
Ive grown the purps from bc bud depot.. And it never went purple.. even at pretty low night temps...

i never knew i smoked so much kush until a few years ago,then i found 1/2 the stuff i smoked was now kush.i thought how the hell did that happen.i still don't know,and i guess it is because i don't know what constitutes a kush,except price.
