S selmagreen Active Member Apr 17, 2010 #3 I used to water with tepid (slightyy warm to the touch) water but have quit doing this. In threoy the plants go in to a slight shock when you use cold water. I could'nt tell any dif so i use cold water now. I am in pots. hydro is a different story.
