Whats the latest you would transplant to final pot?

So my light dep is taking longer than expected, damn dispensary clones going 11 weeks instead of 8. So I should be able to have them all cut, soil dumped, re mixed and pots filled by july 21st and transplant that day. Is this too late? Would i be better off cutting a week or two early and get them in their pots by the 14th?

I built a new greenhouse everything is vegging in right now. Will be putting the first 75 females (growing seed) in their final pots July 1st and the other 50 when the light dep green house finishes up. Just don't want them to start flowering before i move them in their final pot. Or not have enough time to really use all the soil..

Some will say not to in flower. I think a transplant is fine anytime needed. The only thing with one in flower is not to tip it upside down and get dirt in the bud.

A transplant is not stressful if done right. I start a lot of my vegetables indoors and flowers. I up pot the flowers several times over the summer. If done right they will not miss a beat.

I would say after they stretch, they don't expand much into the new soil. Harvesting early almost always sucks, just losing on flavor potency and yield. Can you keep a light on the 2nd round to keep them from flowering? If they finish end of october then you might be fine anyway, all mine are done end of september and earlier so that time period is crucial to those strains.

Their all 7-9 week strains so i'll have to figure lighting out or chop early and get them in the pots. I feel like two weeks early on the light dep is better then having them stretch in small pots. Want them to use as much of those 65 gal pots as possible.

Look into the gas lamp routine for lighting. A couple hours of light in the middle of the night is enough to keep plants from flowering. I think it is important to have at least a 2 week veg. time in final pots, it makes a big difference in getting the roots to fill out in the new soil vs. one week of transplant shock during the first week of flower. Minimizes any stress at the beginning of flower

Alright, July 14th it is. only half the plants will have to worry about it too. The majority will be good in their final pots the first. Even 7-9 weekers probably wont start to stretch until begging of august anyways right? So that should be exactly two weeks of veg before flower
