whats the lowest temp.

because of my situation the only place i can grow is on the storage side of the attic, perfect area and i have total freedom of what i can put in there, except as we all know winter is coming quick. and theres no heat in their and it can get awfully cold, although this past summer we converted the attic into a room(on one half, and the other side storage) and we insulated the whole place and theres only heat on one side, so i was wondering what is the absolute lowest temp i should put my babies in. this summer i had plants in their and, they turned somewhat purple due to low temps at night, so if the temp does infact drop to low what should i do?
any help and suggestions would be great.
