whats the most idiot proof system

me and my girl are breaking up and I dont want her to fall apart in this recession and shes got children not mine but they call me dad Ive left her 2 lights and some tables but they have already proven to be 2 much anyone have any Ideas ?

Sometimes people just dont get it. I would get a couple pots and toss in some ocean forest soil and set up a drip system.
