Ok thanks on monday i just used ph water no nutes i did 3 feedings every 4 or 5 days with flora series micro/gro/bloom then just ph water going to do another feed tomorrow havent had much sun lots of overcast with sunny periods and rain on an off night temps are 50 and day is 60-70they might be getting just a bit more nutrients than needed - looks very minor, sometimes trying to treat a minor issue can lead to creating many more.. just chill and see if it gets worse, many times these issues resolve themselves
Hey it started getting worse i did just lower my feeding this morning see how that goes but heres new pocsthey might be getting just a bit more nutrients than needed - looks very minor, sometimes trying to treat a minor issue can lead to creating many more.. just chill and see if it gets worse, many times these issues resolve themselves
Ya i just lowered my feeding in half was giving 4ml micro, 5ml gro, 1ml bloom with GH flora series nutes in 1 gallon of water this morning i did 2.5ml micro, 2.5 gro, 1.25 bloom in 1 gallon of water and then i split it between my 2 plants so get half gallon eachI have the same problem mate, I thought it was nute burn but after flushing and lowering dose it just got worse, might be a Phosphorus (P) problem, iv given it a high dose of pk today il let u know how it works out
Nice 1 bro il test the ph of my run off tomorrow and let u know thanks for the adviceThose look like PH issues to me gents, ease up on the nutes and get a ph meter to check the run off of the water from the pots to get an idea, or the best option is to get a soil ph pen that you can stick directly into the medium to get accurate readings. Often too much nutes and not ph'd nutrients will result in ph swings which end up with nute lockout
I don't test runoff, ever. I've found that it is misleading at best. It's much easier and effective to always pH properly before you water, not test it after it's filtered through the medium.Nice 1 bro il test the ph of my run off tomorrow and let u know thanks for the advice
I always check my ph and ppm before I water bro and if it ever comes off as too high or low I add ph up or down mate so I don’t think that what’s going in is an issueI don't test runoff, ever. Since you haven't stated what medium you're growing in, nor what you're currently pH-ing to, that information would be prudent to find out if you're off or not.
I'm not saying it is, I was simply asking what your medium is, and what pH you're actually using is all. Just trying to figure out what pH range is appropriate for you to determine whether this may or may not be related to pH.I always check my ph and ppm before I water bro and if it ever comes off as too high or low I add ph up or down mate so I don’t think that what’s going in is an issue
Oh sorry mate my mistake, ph is around 6 and I’m growing in coco I use the canna coco products and I also add 1ml/L of vitalink calmagI'm not saying it is, I was simply asking what your medium is, and what pH you're actually using is all. Don't mean to nit pick, but when you say "around 6", what do you mean by "around"? The pH scale works in an exponential order of magnitude manner. A pH of 6 is 10 times more acidic than pH of 7. A pH of 5 is 100 times more acidic than a pH of 7.Oh sorry mate my mistake, ph is around 6 and I’m growing in coco I use the canna coco products and I also add 1ml/L of vitalink calmag
You should consider getting an electronic pH tester. It's not only easier, it's also more accurate.I’m using a ph test kit where u have to drop 3 drops of ink into a shot of water, it comes out as yellow every time and never needs adjusting
Last time i checked the ph run off was 4 but i test the ph with drops it didnt really change colors much but it looked like the run off ph was around 4 with the drops, i lowedered my nutes when watered today everytime when do watering/feeding ph is 6.0, my medium has a ph adjuster im using sunshine #4 growing mixThose look like PH issues to me gents, ease up on the nutes and get a ph meter to check the run off of the water from the pots to get an idea, or the best option is to get a soil ph pen that you can stick directly into the medium to get accurate readings.
