My calibration is always off a point or 2

Seriously though I fucking hate these readers! And by a point I mean .1Being off 1 or 2 points is major.
Now that's a CFL!Right here we go lol
It's a 300w CFL dual spec
I have no idea what the npk is naturally in the soil
It's a 5gal pot and was started from seed in there .
The rain water is collected in a barrel and I use a cloth over the tap to prevent anything other then water coming out.
Don't know the ph of my water but had no problems from it on my last plant .
Wouldn't personally say I've over watered as it takes 2L every 4-5 days (17L pot) and always lift pot to check as well as finger the soil ..
temps at lights off go as low as 21'c and as high as 29'c at lights on
Humidity is around 40-45% lights on goes as high as 60 when lights off
Running 20/4

As far as nutes go she's nothing yet will be introducing bio-bizz grow and a little cal-mag with her next feed .
Most liquid plant food has a pH stabilizer of some sort and if your using super soil like happy frog or fox farm, heck even pro mix is designed to keep a plant in the perfect pH range. Peat moss has a tendency to become acidic over time as well ,and is a major component of most garden soil. Your propably pH- ing without even knowing! So I wouldn't worry to much about it, unless you are going soilessRight ph is something I haven't bothered to do .
Didn't have a problem last time , could have been luck obv lol
Was under the impression I didn't need to with soil but if it's something I'm going to start taking into practice at I right in the understanding that all it would take is ..
Ph pen thing
Ph up , ph down
Collect my water/mix my feed
Sit for 24hrs
Check my ph , use up or down till in ideal range ?
Haha don't know how (well I do I'm high as fuk) but I managed to completely miss this lol bang on ! I have been watering as I would if she was bigger in regards to the amount per time but assumed it wouldn't be overwatering in regards to pot size. Will deffo calm it down a little ... as for the yellow spot I did wonder if was genetic , same for the deformed 1?you are keeping the soil too moist, let it dry out much more before watering, don't go by the media surface, go by an inch under that.
cannabis HATES wet feet.
100% certain it's not a deficiency due to cal or mag, too early for those to manifest.
container is too big for that plant as well, which is contributing to your first problem... too wet of a media.
when you water, just dribble some around the base of the plant rather than soaking the entire container.
after it's established then you can water the entire container, but only after the plant grows more, approx. double the growth you see now.
for now, scrape or simply agitate the surface of the media to allow more water evaporation.
a fan couldn't hurt either.
and make sure you have that plant OFF the floor, you want something under it so it doesn't sit in any drainage at all
Right here we go lol

I believe it is important to check pH (especially at the beginning). Regardless if it is soil or hydro, if pH is too high or too low you will still get lockout. If it says it contains a stabilizer, how do you know it is, in fact, stable if you have no way to check? More importantly, check your runoff levels. Most liquid plant food has a pH stabilizer of some sort and if your using super soil like happy frog or fox farm, heck even pro mix is designed to keep a plant in the perfect pH range. Peat moss has a tendency to become acidic over time as well, and is a major component of most garden soil. Your probably pH- ing without even knowing! Think people are over sensitive now days and need their safe space... Lots of people are here to learn and get the best product not just grow. I have seen a plant grow and bud in indirect sunlight and miracle grow soil. looked like crap yielded like crap and tasted like crap but it grew lol I was like 15 at the time long ago and smoking Mexican brick weed and it was about as strong as that. Seems most of the LED guys here are just giving solid info one or two trolls. Actually think there are more Non-LED trolls. LED's are proven over and over again to produce the same weight as conventional lighting with half the power used and COBs are just easier to reconfigure and replace broken parts if they break. As far as I know the only disadvantage of LED over conventional lighting is lack of UV and you can get a lamp for that. And before the Non-LED trolls show up and spout something about mindless LED people you obviously haven't done any research on the subject or you would be looking into LED lolI've seen no end of people slate them but for my situation it's brilliant . And for those that say fluffy buds I may not get the yield but I still get the bud
Haha that some dodgey rain water?holy shit man..
I am trying to scientifically explain this in my head.
you sure that's right?
did you check distilled water to see if it's around 7?
9.6 is just almost unfathomable
IF your other grow did well starting in 5 gallon, then I will be watching this to the end. I do not use LED's at the moment so apologies if I missed something. Nutrients are my specialty.I did my last seed the exact same way and it did brilliantly ..
I've only gone direct to final pot with it being an auto , research led me to believe this would be less detrimental to yield as apposed to transplanting an auto once or twice .
Not saying your wrong and I'll take in any info given and potentially use a 3G pot next time but I definitely won't be pulling this 1 lol not because I'm right but I haven't got bollox to risk stunting her
This is my last seed , same conditions , week 1,2,3View attachment 3884974
If nutes are your specialty I'll be sure to keep that in mind lolIF your other grow did well starting in 5 gallon, then I will be watching this to the end. I do not use LED's at the moment so apologies if I missed something. Nutrients are my specialty.
Looking forward to seeing this one through.
"You hate these readers"? Wow, then why are you here? Maybe you should have said .1 instead of 1 or 2 points off. Big difference.Seriously though I fucking hate these readers! And by a point I mean .1
Keep in mind that boosters like AN Big Bud, Overdrive, and bud candy are all designed to do the same thing. Look at the front of any of these bottles and you will see N-P-K with a coinciding number. These boosters all will contain 0 for first # N (no nitrogen) but will be high in P-K (Phosphorous and Potassium). IF you feed all of these to your pants you will create lockout. Use one according to directions and stick with that.If nutes are your specialty I'll be sure to keep that in mind lol
So far I've got bio-bizz organic grow, bloom, top-max
AN big-bud , overdrive , bud-candy
Cal-mag
Considering getting some AN b-52 and rhino skin aswell?
Anything you would reccomend in general that's just handy to have ?
If you get bored or want a read or even just an idea of how this Ones going to be grown I did a journal on my last
