Whats up smokers & growers? NYC in the building

First off let me say what's up to all. I am a season smoker with about 16yrs under my belt. I smoked bud from all over the the contenintal U.S. I took a few years off from toking up due to health reasons but now the ironlung has returned to get high as a kite in space. I am also here to learn to become a productive grower. I have a decent knowledge of gardening. My grandparents have a farm in the south and I have helped plant and harvest everything from corn to roses to apples to zuchinni. I have never attemped to grow bud b4 so I came here to increase my growing knowledge and to get myself started right. I am currently looking to grow indoors so any advice on begginer strains growing techniques or any helpful advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If your a new grower you should just start out with some seeds you find in a sack of weed ,, Just to get your feet wet, You dont wanna spend big bucks on seeds and then kill em cause something went wrong .. ,,

i agree ^^^^
if its gonna be a small grow and you can afford a $100.00 for beans and dont care what happens then do it.
the best thing to use is a test run with bagseed for your first indoor grow so you can work out any problems with the op.
i know you have some gardening experience but how about indoors.

Thanks for the advice. My growing skills are decent. I never attempted to grow bud indoor though. I don' mind spending a little cash for a little trial and error but again what you guys said makes sense so I will try growing some seeds out of a sac like you all suggested.

Have Fun and Good luck .. The hardest part of growing weed is the waiting ,,
You plant a seed and wait
you watch it grow and wait
you flower it to sex it and wait
you let it grow and watch the buds grow and wait
you watch the tric's go from clear to cloudy to amber and chop and dry Then wait
finish manicure and put in jars to cure and wait some more
Keep burping the jars and testing your weed till you WAIT NO MORE ..
Then start over ..

and so ya know, cannabis is probably the most well documented plant, and there is probably more information on growing cannabis than tomatoes
