If I'm somewhere or doing something where I don't want to be bothered I just turn my phone off and check voicemail later. I really don't like always being available, I resisted getting a cell phone for years because of that. Now that I have one I don't want to be tethered to it all the time. Besides, turning it off for stretches helps the battery last longer
