Whats up with the molasses?

Ive heard about mixing in molasses with your water to help "swell up" buds during flowering and i understand that it gives an energy boost to the plants but what i dont understand is how that would not attract bugs and/or rot the roots? im not hating im just trying to understand!

molasses feeds the micro organisms in your soil. which in turn help feed your roots, giving your plant more energy and nutrients to grow bigger buds. It really only benefits organic soil users. If you use artificial nutes, don't bother using molasses.

You only add about a tbls per gallon of water, so it shouldn't make a huge sticky mess or attract many bugs.

I dont use Organics but I do use Black Strap Molasses during the last 2 to 3 weeks of Flowering. I do Molasses flushes. I also drowned a plant with a heavy Molasses mix as a test (https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/409622-truth-about-flushing-7.html) Post #243, it also speeds up the fermentation process. I think Molasses also activates and feeds the living organisms in organic teas and stuff like that. Not 100%.

I would recommend using Brix Molasses if you want to use it from Veg to Finish cause I know for a fact Black Strap blocks the "N" in my plants! Hence why I wait till the end to use it.

Peace
