So as you can see my plants arent doing to hot. 23 days into flowering 12/12 and they look like they have 23 days left (instead of 40+)

Ive lost a half dozen fan leaves between the two and the remainder seem to be turning a yellowish color. Seems like all the leaves around the budsites are quite dark green though. Thought it was N defficiency so I added a little N and noticed the bigger plant developed burnt leaf tips. So any advice is appreciated. Using fox farm tiger bloom, grow big, and big bloom. I dont wanna bail on these ladies just yet even though I doubt il get a half oz from each. Any help is greatly appreciated. There in a 2x4x5 grow tent with an air cooled 400watt hps. humidity is 30% temp is always 75-80f

I keep it very clean and neat. :joint:

Im not entirely sure considering im at 24 days of 12/12. I did see sex around 3-4-5days in but still.

Yeah it's a bit early, but I would just let it go, stick to Flower nutes and don't worry as long as it's just the big older fan leaves yellowing and falling off.

Do you have experience with the strain your growing? If not then I would ask the breeder if possible. If not, then lets assume its an unknown: This is for sure NOT 20 days away from anything...there are strains that may yellow more than others, its drawing alot of energy right now and it in full bloom mode, just like in fall all the trees and plants start to change. Cannabis is one of this plants that changes according to season. Some sooner than others. Pay attention to your buds as to how much longer you have, not your fan leaves. I do not know of anyone that can judge an accurate harvest time prediction from fan leaves. If you know your using the right amount of N, P, and K, and your not getting any other results besides the leaves changing then i would just continue on your normal routine, dont breech from your budding, continue on, and for gods sake let it finish, i swear 80 percent of growers harvest waaaaay to early...let her ride it out bro, lookin good.

No intentions to harvest anytime soon. Just was worried about the whole half/dead/dieing looking plant. Suppossedly straight nirvana northern lights according the bank I bought from. I intend to take it another 40 days! Awesome smell from these little ladies <3

You could try adding some cal mag supplements to see if that helps.

Or give it a single supplement N to help green it back up.

then continue with your Bloom nutes. Dont want to give it too much N as this will make her want to revert back to veg. But if you are worried about the yellowing just give her a single shot of Grow nutes or use the cal mag or single part N.

Yellowing is normal later in flowering but not a couple of weeks into flowering.

Hope this helps.

Haha no no dude, seriously there's nothing wrong at all.

Yellowing during flowering on the fan leaves specifically is completely normal.

Thanks. Checked it again this morning. 5-5.5

Running to the petstore for ph up/down and some of that chlorine remover. I should run 6 or so gallons through? there in 2.5gallon pots.

Please tell me you are not checking soil ph with one of those worthless green meters for soil?
You need to check ph of water going in and the first few drops coming out to determine what is really happening.
Buy test drops or a real ph meter on ebay or a hydro store.
Chlorine will disipate on its own by letting water sit out for 24 hours
Good luck

Yes, one of those worthless soil ph meters. I found my tap water ph is 5-5.5 right out of the faucet (city water) and bumped it up to 7-7.5 with ph up. The immediate run off (collected in a trash bag) was 4-5. After running a shit load of phed water threw it im getting readings of 6-7 out of both plants stabbing in various areas ( from the top two inches to the bottom) The run off at the end of the process was also 6-7. I plan on just testing the ph of my water/feed mixed from now on. I noticed alot of salt build up around my drainage holes as well but the flush seems to have rid all of that. Il be feeding them 1/2 dose fox farm trio (whats reccomended) in 2-3 days. Depending on how fast the soil dries out. I dont think theres anything/much left for food.

get you a ph pen the only way to go. and get your ph up to 6.3 and keep it there. get you some ph down and ph up to adjust it. you can use bakeing soda for ph up, and lemon juice in a ph down. but i use ph down from the hydro store. and use baking soda for my up.
