What's wrong here?

So I'm a newbie (obviously) and have my first grow. I started growing before I ever read the first thing online which was admittedly my 1st mistake. I was using overhead florescent and some incandescent "plant lights"on the sides. The plant got super stretchy so I asked for some help on this forum, & got great advice on changing up to a CFL grow. I made the necessary purchases and the girl got a bit more bushy, and her stalk fattened up tremendously. She was nearly 30" tall when I switched to 12/12 and she is STILL getting taller after 3wks of flowering. There are NO light leaks. How can I make her stop getting taller? From what I've read I shouldn't do any cutting while she's in fl ower. Also been getting 2 or 3 yellow leaves a day lately with some looking burnt. Is that something to be super concerned about, or will she be ok? I did a soil check and my Ph is right at 7. I know it should be a little lower, do you think the Ph is the cause of these yellow leaves? Not near my baby right now but posting the pictures I have available... Will post more in the morning when I'm off work

i suggest you super crop it if it was earlier i would say bending the stock or do a scrog if you low on vertical space and you have more horizontal space......a scrog is short for screen of green google it its quite neat actually......if you dont know what super cropping is lemme know ill give ya the low down on it.

A little more background... I was planning on scrapping this girl altogether when I saw how stretchy she was, but decided to instead go ahead and force her into flowering. Have just started seeing some buds form in the last 3 days, which is also when the yellowing started. Nothing other than the light cycle was changed. Also, any comments on the plant would be appreciated... I KNOW she's not pretty, but is it worth my time/risk to keep her alive? Does anything lead you to believe she won't produce, or survive until harvest? What would your guess be on yield? What should I expect? I want to get in there and cut away some of the small branches that don't yet have any buds, and trim up SOME (not many) of the fan leaves, and especially the stuff at the bottom - is that a BAD idea while she's flowering? I've got some seeds on the way from Nirvana, and will adjust my setup to include a small HPS for flowering once they arrive. I just don't know what's up with this girl. Is she healthy or not?

plus if your leaves are yellowing its more than likely s nitrogen def cuz when the plant goes into flowering its a common thing i find that happens the begining of flowering

I've got some Monty's Joy Juice "Plant Food" that comes in a spray bottle to just "SPRAY ON LEAVES" but I've been hesitant about using it because I don't want to cause mold, plus I am not sure if it has the right NPK value for flowering. Again... I'm new to this. OH - What was this super-cropping thing you mentioned? And are their products high in nitrogen I may find at a local nursery or big-box store?

I'd say keep it going. Even if the plants don't make it to harvest, it's a learning experience. Take this opportunity to try out different things before you grow out your expensive seeds. The leafs are probably turning yellow because she's getting hungry. Takes a lot out of the plants to double in size in 2 weeks lol.

As far as yield, no way to tell this early. Many factors come into play. Light source, nutes, genetics, over all environment ect ect. Try to leave the fan leafs on as long as you can. Many people will tell you not to remove any fan leafs what so ever, but it's okay to take a few from time to time.

Thanks bamfrivet. I just started giving her some molasses in her water, but to be honest nutes have been far and few between. I kept reading about "burning up the plants" and it scared me away from using the other Monty's products I purchased from the nursery close to home. Will she grow and produce with only water, molasses, love, and light?

well super cropping is when you damage the vascular tissue and bend the plants branches so that it forms knuckles and the plant is more bushy and has really strong buds that will withstand the weight of your huge buds

Does anyone else have any input? Only thing suggested so far is to supercrop her. While I appreciate the suggestion, I think I'll refrain from pinching on her and intentionally inflicting harm this late in the game.
