I've heard alot of bad things about miracle gro around this site and i have been using it for a while with no problems. I only use it for veg as soon as my plants start to flower i plan on using other nutes i got from the garden store esoecially for blooming buds and switching later in flower to another nute especially made for high yield. I actually think it might be call "High Yield" Anyway what exactly is wrong with miracle Gro?? I'm using the all purpose miracle Gro.

Nothing if you measure carefully. MG is a hot product though and if you over-fertilize it is not very forgiving.

what if i use it only like once a week at half strength??? Should be ok right??
I'd start with 1/4 strength feeding first and work up a bit more every feeding until plants show signs of nute burn, then scale back just below there.

As for frequency, I like: water, water, heavy feed, water, water, heavy feed, water, flush, heavy feed...

I'm using the blue crystals that you buy and mix with water just like any other nute. I used the potting soil too and its workin fine but i'm wondering about the nutes themselves

So your saying feed more than once a week??

Depends on how often you're watering, but probably not. What I mean is feed with every third watering. Right now, my hempy buckets only need watering every 2-3 days, so about every 6-9 days I feed.

if you are using MG, there is absolutely no reason to feed it extra nutrients. As someone already said, MG is very unforgiving if not used properly. And it is made to supply everything the plant needs on its own. any other help will result in wacked out ph and most likely nutrient lock out with your roots. the only time you WOULD add extra nutrients with MG is if your grow is longer than the three months which MG lasts for. at which point your most likely in the middle of flowering at which time it would then be appropiate to use bloom nutrients.

MG is a hot product. But a good one. And every third watering is perfect. I dont know why so many people talk bad about it.

yes thats right and i'm planning on switching to bloom supplements when it goes into flowering. I have already in a better bloom nute and only gonna use it for the begginning of flowering then go to osmething a little higher in P and lower in N and K

I used MG last year on my outdoor crop & had mixed results. As others have stated it can be very unforgiving. I nuked about half my crop by using to much of there fertilizer. A few survived but most died.
