What's wrong with my plant?

Hey guys im not sure if I'm doing this in the right place or not. I'm not to great with computers. But I'm not sure what's wrong with my plant the leaves are turning brown and drying out. This is my first grow. IMG_1835.JPG IMG_1835.JPG IMG_1832.JPG It started in the middle of the plant and now it's happening to the top and bottom. The ph of the soil is about 7.5 now it was in the high 8s but I've been trying to work it down slowly. I'm using the "technaflora recipe for success" nutritient starter kit. I've had no problems until now. It's about a month and a half old and the leaves are drying out. Any ideas on what it could be? I'm trying to flush the soil to see if that helps but so far nothing.

Could be a few things lad to be honest....

Firstly have you checked the back of your leaves to see if you have any lodgers that need evicting so to say lol.

Your looking for tiny little dots or anything that doesnt look like it skould be there.

Thank you for the reply and Yes. I've checked the bottom and top of every leaf on every plant. I had a problem with mites a while back but I used "mite-rid" as directed and haven't seen one since. It also hasn't affected the growth of the plant in anyway. The tops are still growing as before, just random leaves are dying and I'm worried it might spread through the rest of the plant.
 
Your PH is still too high. For a soil grow you want to have your ph in the 6-6.5 range. When it's outside that range your plants struggle to absorb certain nutrients and in this case it looks lke it's not getting enough magnesium. I would lower your soils ph and also add a little Cal mag to your nutrient mix

Thanks for the advice I'll definitely add some cal mag. And do you have a good way to lower the soil ph? I felt that it would be bad to water it with water that was too low, I was thinking that I'd have to do it slowly but I'm just grasping at straws. I tried to google it but I couldn't find a good way to do so

Lower the Ph of the water you are feeding your plants to about 5.5 for the feeding and check the runoff. If it gets down into your range then just insure that at every feeding the PH is in that 6-6.5 range. If it's still too high then again do a watering at 5.5 and monitor the runoff. You want it to drop into the low to mid 6 range

Ok I will do that. But should I be checking the run off or the soil? I've been using a soil tester. I have never checked my actual run off because I didn't want to get my ph tester dirty
 
Could it be because my roots are too tight? I put it in a 3 gallon bucket as soon as I got it. So I'm sure it's root bound

You can test your soil that's fine but just remember that soil tends to buffer ph so you may water and test, find it's where you want it to be but after it dries out a bit the ph will have risen back up to quite a high level. Can I ask what soil you used?

I'm using the fox farm happy frog soil. Also when I transplant should I use some earth worm castings? Mabyve my soul just got too tight from watering?
 
I don't think your problem is ph. Adding worm castings is a good idea and should lower the ph slightly. You can top dress with them. If it were just the bottom leaves, I would think thrips. You're using good soil, so I don't really think that's the problem.
 
Tbh with you guys when I did my last feeding I might have forgot the magical which is the magnesium and calcium nutrients for the technaflora set. I doubled the the amount this time and I'm going to feed it when I get home tonight.
