You don’t adjust pH for soil. Dirt. Earth. It buffers it by itself. Otherwise, organic or not, pH should be adjusted.
Ok so ph is crucial in both organic and synthetic runs, but synthetic ph modifiers will affect soil biome. However if your ph is wrong then your soil/soil biome needs adjustment anyways. Ph determines nutrient availability in a soil so if that’s wrong it doesn’t matter if it’s organic or not you will have issues. The reason you heard you shouldn’t have to worry about it is because most organic substrates/amendments tend to sit at a good ph, but blanket statements are rarely your friend.
Ok now i get it!I'll put it in layman's terms.
Some soil growers never ph their water. They use buffers like lime or oyster shell to raise ph when needed.
Others ph their water.
Both groups can grow excellent plants.
Bottom line is that you will get different answers from different growers.
1- You learn to read the plant. Ph lockouts look different than legitimate soil deficiencies. Many can tell from experience or trial and error.Ok now i get it!
But I have one question, how do I know if the pH is right or wrong in the soil, so that i can correct it?
Maybe but if you mean that little open yellow calyx its too late anyways ...grow it outI just found some weird stuff that I think are nanners..
Any body got a clue on what to do? The plant looks like it's still flowering, any chance it could be an hermaphrodite?
What do you mean it's too late? Will my plants stop blooming?Maybe but if you mean that little open yellow calyx its too late anyways ...grow it out
No I mean if it held viable pollen it already dropped itWhat do you mean it's too late? Will my plants stop blooming?
Look like your plants are out growing their pots? The plants in my flower tent are showing symptoms and I don't know what it is... At first I thought it was nutrient burn but is weird because I've been giving 1/3 of the nutes.. can someone help me identify what Is wrong?

If you grow in a peat moss medium like promix since it is already acidic, don't lower your ph lower than 6.7 unless you want yellow plants and a runoff of 5.0. Plus thoses who feed your soils.. microbes love a less acidic PH.Is anyone here with knowledge in organics? Because I'm getting confused about pH, some say i have to day but then organic growers say don't worry about pH if your growing organic.. i even read somewhere that pH Down can damage the bacteria in the soil
