You got a nute prob. I guess your going w/ the SH, but you prob over did it. Just flush the res.

BTW the Stealth Hydro setup is garbage, so take what you can learn out of this, and dump it next grow.

Well having said no nutrients until 1 day after the problem started I would ask what PH are you maintaining +/- 0.1?

Is this tap, city or RO water? Do you know the PPM out of the box on the plain water you're using?

When doing hydro, you NEED nutes as soon as your first blade leaves. So I would add nutes ASAP!!!

...really cause I never have probs w my tap, just let the chlorine evaporate... takes about 1 day. Well that's what I did, and I never had probs

with hydro you need nute from the get go, otherwise the plant has no way of getting the food it needs, plain water doesnt carry them. So more than likely you have a severe nute defiency as well as possible pH problem you really need to keep an eye on it with a hydro setup.

O and BTW SH setups are not garbage...

The air pump is garbage, there really isn't enough room for the 4-6 plants that they suggest, the nutes don't completely dissolve, so I wouldn't consider them "ideal", but if you've had good grows congrats

O i agree they are not ideal by anymeans, and are to small for the number of plants they claim to support. But I do 12/12 from seed grows so i can fit 4-6 plants with good results. Start to harvest in 8-13 weeks gotta love that.

O ya, I'm pretty sure there ok if you skip the veg. stage, but I don't like to. So if that's your style, and you like the dwarfs that's cool. Keep growin' : )

yea, if i have more room to work with I wouldnt do it 12/12 but due to spave issues doing lots of small budsickles vs 1 or 2 larger plants works a little better for me. Will be moving soon though and have more space.

did u wash your rocks first because from your pics look lik u didnt
quick question for you, when pre washing your clay pellets do you HAVE to use PHd water. or would rinsing them with standard non ph'd tap and then allowing them to dry off before using them be cool? do you have any tricks for rinsing hydrotron? it seems like a major pain.

just rinse them under the tap water, or hose, and no need to wait for them to dry before using them.

There's no way in hell I'd go through all the trouble to PH the water to rinse them with. ridiculous!

Hi,

I've just started my hydro grow using bubbleponics, can someone tell me whats wrong with my plants? help pls.

Regards
When using SH nutes, you want to slowing add them over time, ie 1/4 pack every other day, or they'll burn.

Your pH should be around 5.5 to 6.5 with 5.8 to 6.0 being the best.

If these were my plants I'd change the water asap with the pH being balanced and then add 1/4 pack of Grow & Micros. Then add another 1/4 in two or three days, repeating this until nutes are used.

If you didn't give your hydro stones a really good washing, I'd remove the plants/rockwool and get a colander and rinse the shit out those rocks. Then put everything back together making sure that you water feeding tubes come right under or into the side of the rockwool.

But stay on top of your pH and I recommend buying a electronic pH meter because those test strips don't give a clear reading.

Here's a link that has a ton of good info on using the SH system:

Good luck!
