Bro, Go and buy a cheap PH tester and go out to a place where there's lots of vegetation & check the PH after you wet the area well. Take some neutral-Natural soil and use it. All of that crap everyone buys in bags is tricky and unpredictable for rookies. My suggestion is to piss off all of that designer crap and transplant in plain ol dirt (it's a weed plant anyway). I guarantee that your plants will be happier than ever! Make sure you place boiling water in the dirt without letting it drain so it soaks up and kills everything in there before you use it (save the water when you drain and reuse so the minerals and nutrients are recycled ;) Don't do that after you start using other stuff that isn't just H2O). After all of that, you can purchase worm castings & use Dark unsulfured molasses once a month + fert in small quantities every other watering... VOILA! All will be well.

You know, a lot of people will give you this and that recipe and some will and wont work. Mother nature is your plant's best friend ^_^ Just my 2 cents bro. Slow is better than an early grave and/or stressed/stunted plants.

One more thing, everyone will say 2" with the lights from your plants; look @ mine, they don't need the light 2" away o.0 My seedlings are miles away and are growing fast and tight... The lumens per watt is per square foot, not per inch. You can keep those plants 4" away and I guarantee that they will grow faster than having them so close to the lights. Just my 2 cents again & not canon ^_^ PAZ!

they dont need a whole lot of light at this point but it wouldnt hurt to get the lights directly above your plants horizontal, in my experience cfl's give off more light on there side..you could put one cfl on its side 2-5" above each plant and they would grow
eventually you are gonna need a lot more light then that bro

flip the lights to 12/12 after the next node grows in and then you got about 10 weeks

Fab's gotta good point man, spin the plants around every day or so and see if that helps if you cant move the lights
