Whats wrong with my plants?

just started flowering last week. gave 2 gallons to 3 plants in 5 gal pots and the lower fan leaves started drooping. it looks like overwatering and all happened all of a sudden, i water every 3-4 days used to give each a little under half a gallon per 5 gallon pot every 3 days but thought they would need more because this light keeps the room warmer. pictures are in pairs (1-2) (3-4) (5-6) and they are just the top and bottoms of each plant.IMAG0175.jpgIMAG0178.jpgIMAG0177.jpgIMAG0176.jpgIMAG0174.jpgIMAG0179.jpg

2 gallons to 3 plants in 5 gallon pots does not seem to be enough. I bet the bottom 1/3 of your pots are bone dry. That is only .6666 gallons per 5 gallons of soil. My 6 foot plants get 1 gallon of water every 2 days, in 2 gallon grow bags of Coco Coire

Just my Opinion. :)

about 1/4 of the bottom of the pot is hydroton idk if that would make any difference but even when i water them with about half a gallon each water pours out the drainage so i just assumed it was overwatering. i think im gonna just water every 2 days with half gallon per plant and work my way up if more is necessary

the wilting is from over or under watering. pic 4 i kinda see P deficiency with the middle of the leaf getting messed up(and probably is turning dark and dieing). also i can see N deficiency; lower leaves yellowing and dieing, it slowly climbs up the plant. the tops are looking a bit too wrinkled do you have a fan in there?!

it seems odd.... you say you water every 3-4 days... but i looks like over watering and my guess is that the deficiencies are seen because the roots are suffocating... this is probably a stupid question, but are there enough drainage holes?

What kind of dirt/nutes you using?
How much given to them? I'm thinking
under feeding, During flowering the
need for nutes goes up~

As for the watering, if you are only watering very sparsley and getting plenty of runoff each time then you may consider there might be dry pockets of soil in the pot, maybe a good watering next time or possibly a soak. It dosent look overwatered but hell i dont know. Peace

They in 3/4 ocean forest and 1/4 hydroton for drainage at the bottom the drainage holes are fine and they seemed to be doing worse after I fed gave 2 gallons to 3 plants with cal mag medium str, vegan plant booster half str, and foxfarm tiger bloom quarter str. Just watered last night with tap I will post more pics tomorrow just to see the difference. The plants were even more wilted than in the pics I'm starting to think underwatering may take a video just so I can show how much water I'm giving and the drainage

some more pictures. watered 2 times since post started top leaves aren't droopy but bottom leaves are dieing off and showing deficiency. Also on the tops of the plants they are looking discolored lighter green towards the center looks like light bleaching. Any help is appreciated looks like i have a few different problems with my plants. they are 2 weeks into flowering and the problems started when i moved into flowering room they are in ffof soil and hydroton; watering every 2 days feeding 1/4 str bloom nutes every other watering and using ro water with cal-mag and another micro-nutrient for watering. under a 400w hps plants about 6 inches from the light. temp 85-90 while lights on gonna get an inline fan for the ballast/hood.

Move your light up. I don't think its over/under watered. I do think the lights to close and you have
A salt buildup that is creating a lockout. Flush with 6ph water and you want 3x as much water in runoff. Also there are solutions like florakleen that help remove salt buildups in soil and hydro.

Good luck and Jah love!

Hey man, i had a similar problem a few months back. Check your soil ph with a runoff test. It looks like the ph might be a little low, causing some nutrient lockout. I would flush with water until a runoff of about 6.5 then feed with a light nutrient solution. If you add any additional supplements you may be doing more harm than good to your soil structure and plant.

Also for maintaining a slightly acidic ph, you can use dolomite lime 1 cup per cubic ft of soil.

Good luck!

Im with dangley here, seems to be a watering issue, if i were in coco watering every two days would be cool but in soil for even small pots every 3/4 or 5 days would be prefered. If the soil is drying every two days then somthing suspicious is going on.

When i water i make sure all the soil in the pot has been saturated, simply lifting the pot tells me that as well as when its dry. Having dry pockets in the soil can lead to water just running off it. I would also like to say those are big pots for the size of the plant as well. Why wouldnt it hold water for best part of a week before needing water again? Peace
