Well I put it in a larger pot BC its an auto flower, I didn't want to transplantPot may be too large for that little guy
Well hopefully she pulls through. And ok cool I'll just try the transplant on my next batchI've transplanted autos with no problems.
Some sources say not to, but if you know what your doing and don't damage roots during transplant you'll be fine.
At this point though, your just going to have to deal with the slow growth.
Keep us posted!Well hopefully she pulls through. And ok cool I'll just try the transplant on my next batch
Well couple days later she seemed to have pulled through!Keep us posted!
I've planted my autos directly into the final pot, never had issues with seedlings.Pot may be too large for that little guy
Is that sand on top of your soil? What's with the premature look?
Yes it's sand I had a little fungus gnat problem which is gone now. And as far as watering I watered 1st time with 20% runoff like I was told. Lol then waited a few days afterIs that sand on top of your soil?
Second question relates to # 1 mistake on a new grow. Are you letting the soil dry up before watering?
Might have over watered. Glad she bounced back.Yes it's sand I had a little fungus gnat problem which is gone now. And as far as watering I watered 1st time with 20% runoff like I was told. Lol then waited a few days after
Ok cool, so I'll fall back on water, my other plant did fine. What u guys think? And when should I try lst on this one, it's autoflower alsoMight have over watered. Glad she bounced back.
If it helps, when I make my soil I flush the whole thing with a root stimulation solution. So pretty much the whole pot is wet. I do that about a week before I plant. After I plant, I can go anywhere from a week or even two weeks before I need to water again.
How do I know when to water? Great question, glad you asked. I lift the pot to feel how heavy it is. If it feels heavy, I wait. If it feels light then I water.
Autos don't really like training in my exp. but I have put them in scrog before. You have a few weeks to a month to go before you would do any training I would say anyway.Ok cool, so I'll fall back on water, my other plant did fine. What u guys think? Ok thanks, I'll wait and maybe give it a lil bend and if I'm not comfortable doing it I'll bust out the chicken wire.Autos don't really like training in my exp. but I have put them in scrog before. You have a few weeks to a month to go before you would do any training I would say anyway.
Yes sir I do flush my soil. My grow journal has more info on the soil mix I use. The root simulator/activator I use is: Carl Pool Root Activator. See attached photo.Hey dgthumb, you say you flush your soil with a root stimulation solution before you plant. What type of solution is it, and when you say you plant, do you plant the seed into the soil, or did you germinate the seed first then plant? I have a few autos this grow and I want to give the girls their best chance. Thanks,
That's why I use coco. Never overwatered onceYes it's sand I had a little fungus gnat problem which is gone now. And as far as watering I watered 1st time with 20% runoff like I was told. Lol then waited a few days after
