ok so i have had this plant for 2 weeks under 18/6 in a veg box. i have 4 42w cfls in the box and 2 of them hovering over this plant. it seems like half of the plant is growingvery slow or not the right way.. my camera sucks and you cant really see it but the biggest part of the fanleave is reaaaally really small and not growing at all. the others are doing fine but its only on one side too. you can see the difference in size from my plants and kinda see the lopsided growth on the one plant. its been like this since sprouting with the very first rigid leave on one side being small and stopped growing.. then the first node grew and only the biggest leaf on the fanleaf(would be the biggest if it grew.) grew very small and stopped. temps are at 78 - 81 nothing seems to be bothering it its still growing fine just these parts having trouble gorwing... i gave them their first fert feed yesterday they seemded to love it i can see some growth.. its just these leaves.. take a look..

heres them both in the box. you can see the difference in size.. they were both planted at the same time and sprouted within a few hours apart.

Dosnt look like there is anything wrong to me. If anything the lights been to close to it. Most plants that young dont grow above ground (very much) until they have formed a decent root system.
Just be patient

that plant is still living, and still growing.. but youre not seeing what i am becasue of a shitty camera.. it says 12.0 megapixles wtf?! D:... but im not talking about how tall the plant is. it looks short becasue when i transplant i tend to bury the stem pretty good. i like it that way its just my way of keeping it close to the ground.

but back to what im tlaking about. you know how you plant a seed, you get the oval leaves with two smaaallll little rigid leafs.. then they grow big, then a set of 3 leafs come, then 5 and so on.. well one of the 2 first leafs (not oval) was growing wierd, and stopped growing. then the 3 leafs came, then another set of 3 leafs, and 2 normal leafs on the other side with an exeption of a VEERRRYY VEERRRYYY small leaf (would be the middle one of the 3) it looks veerry small, skinny, dark dark green, almost dead looking but its still alive. i can see new growth happening so its gonna jump up to the 5 leafs. (new growth on both sides, ill try to count the leafs.) heres some better pictures and some to point out what i mean..

can you see it now.. theres only two visible leafs on that one side. the third is verry small close to the stem..
HPIM0011.new.jpg(as you can see, where is the middle leaf like on the other side?)
HPIM0010.new.jpg(heres a better angle with the first rigid leaf out of the way, its like a gap.)
HPIM0012.new.jpgthis is what it should look like with the five leafs... even growth. *edit* sorrrryyy it should be the 5 leafs.. my bad

Grow it out for a couple of leaf sets and see if there is any more irregularities. If there are then you have some strange genetic for that plant and may want to ditch. If not, then keep growing it. I wouldn't read to much into it at this stage, b/c it is not that big a deal. Think about it. You have invested 1 week into this plant. Just start another one.

yea thats what i was planning. new growth is normal. i think something was off or something happened when it was young.. then shocked the plant. its a slow grower but it seems it just hit vegatative growth. so should speed up here shortly. i want to show you guys what i was talkign about tho. jsut so i dont sound like a retard :P jk. idk it just seems wierd what happened.
