What's you favourite pruning technique?

So what's your favourite, personally proven and favoured pruning technique for getting the biggest bang for your buck? Such as manifolding, Air pruning etc etc :weed:

With so many different methods out there it would be great to have informative list of who has stuck with which method and why, guessing that because it's got you the biggest yield? I will definitely be trying some ideas!

Everyone's different so let's try and accept that there's going to be different methods with guaranteed results...you're all correct so keep it clean and informative, you rowdy pirates!!!

I prefer to build a manifold and get 8 or 16 tops. 8 is easier to handle in a cabinet while 16 can get a little out of hand.
I don't really have a specified veg time, i just put them into flower when I think they look ready, not when the clock says to.

You're question is to specific. Different methods? Yes. Guaranteed results? Not likely. Too many variables from grow to grow to say one method is "better" than another. You would need to know strain, grow medium, all environmental conditions, nutrient regime, etc, etc, before you could start to say it's a valid method. Then it would need to be tested across strains and environment. I have 3 different strains I run, all respond differently to the same pruning/training techniques. One loves to be cut back/topped, it throws out new shoots all over the place almost immediately, one of the others takes a few days to recover then slowly starts branching out.

You need to figure out which methods, all of which have been heavily discussed- topping, fimming, supercropping, manifolding, etc, etc- work in your environment with your strains.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I'm not asking for the "best" method. As we all know what works for one doesn't always work for another. We all have our OWN guaranteed results for the methods we use most often- which is why we use them- I'm not asking for a sure fire way of growing- I've been doing it long enough myself. I'm asking to share your views and methods and reasoning.

No is right and no one is wrong. Too many variables from country to tent etc.

For me it was multiple toppings on most strains by I'm now moving to manifolds.

I'm just interested to know who does what and why they prefer it!

As someone who grows from different seed almost every single time, I occasionally come across strains that don't like being messed with , So that would be handy as well if someone finds something that doesn't like to be played wth- let us know!

I never go by the clock- but I do go until I know they're gonna be 1lb ish plants and nt a few oz..
Manifold will be my next chosen methods. I'm loving the idea of an even canopy and equal growth, less leaf etc etc!

It would seem vertical scrog is the best method in supporting the largest amount of leaf mass at optimal range of lighting. It would also seem most people not growing in a box have the room to do it but opt for normal lst or mainlining as it is logistically already catered to by typical lighting fixtures. In other words, if your question was a game you might say it was unintentionally rigged.
