What's you opinion on the setup?

I have a extra room in our basement that I am using as veg room and also a flowering room. Its a about a 12ftx 4ft room. For the vegging I have a homebuilt cabinet filled with 4 removable shelves. Right now I just have about 20 plants sitting inside under (6) 40 watt CFL's and also (2) 80 watt CFL's that are equivalent to 500watts

Next to that Cabinet I have 2 Shelves (top layer for drying/harvest, equipped with 2 pulleys for them to hang from) For the middle layer I have a 25 spot cloner with a powerful air pump that hold up to 4 hoses. I have the setting turned all the way up for major bubbles. Next to that I have about 25 clones in white cups (foxfarm soil being used). As for the lights I got 2 flourescents chain hanging from hooks and they are right ontop of the clones.

As for the bottom shel, this is the area I use to put the plants that are about to go into flowering. THe plants are in 8 inch pots and some are in grow bags. Down here I also have 2 flourescent lights plus (2) 45 watt CFL's. I also use the technique of "punishing" my plants down here. When they start to get to tall I just simply bend them over. It gets crowded pretty quick.

Within those are I have lights on 24 hours a day.

For the flowering area, I have a 1000watt HPS along with a huge sun reflector. (takes up the whole ceiling almost.) I also have a ozone generatio and a outtake fan connected to the hps to stream out heat. The heat also goes through 2 carbon filters on the way out. I have an extra inline fan but fresh air gets in there some how so i do not feel the need to bring in fresh air.

In the flowering room I also have a 10 spot hydro set up with a couple of plants. But other than that I have a total of 20 plants. I also have some unknown males/females that I just threw into flowering but far away from the female plants that are already flowering.

I will get pics up as soon as possible, but I would like to know your opinion on how to get bigger yields. I have harvested twice and I just can't seem to get big kolas. I just recently raised the plants up to the light by about 3 ft. I use foxfarm soil and foxfarm tigerbloom and foxfarm grow big.

I am hoping to get some pictures up tonight.

I really liked your "punishing" the plants. Tying them over like that is much better than topping them, which is of course also cool yet the stress makes them stronger for one thing the plant will be able to support the big bugs ur are going to get. There are a few things you can do. The 2 gal buckets are cool, do not use the black plastic baggies, as when you rotate or move the plants you will disturn the roots, anyway, try also this
1. Cut the fertilizer into 1/2 of what your giving now for 2 weeks, then go back to normal levels, (In Veg) if ya do not know what this is lemme know. Then let them almost dry out till the main leaves start to slightly wilts ( in Flower) . Never open the doors or let Any light in during the light flowing cycle, this will def affect your yield and stunt ur efforts big time... "Just let em Bud" every day when the lights come on is a new Surprise and wonderful day!!! also increase the Dark time a few hrs... your dirt needs to be 1/2 top notch potting soil 1/3 vermiculite and the rest perlite. You do not need to buy the fancy exp fertilizers either, look at the ingredients then got ot lowes or the depot and see whats in there.. "]
I do all sorts of things. I also have used 2 gal containers tried over the yrs dif levels or mixtures of the above for the "dirt" and found this to be best, your mistreating the plants will unlikely increase your yield however is a very good pratice and bending them over, leave them that way you will get more top colas I had one wrapped around a string using bread twist ties,, errr and the damn thing was a 4 ft long cork srew had another straight bud almost as long , after curing we played star wars with them,,, if ya know what I mean haha if you need more help I will be back here and I am coming to Cali to start my own operation and a consulting business, a legit one, a real one well good luck Like your various systems as well
Latas
Cutter
also your dirt or soil mix and ph I assume is ur main issue, next time you get yer pots ready try this
