Tbh man im just fucking around. Using a decent base grain bill, not much caramel and no more than 4 or 5 types of malt per batch. I tend to always use a bit of wheat tbh in all my beers, gives it a great mouthfeel. A fuck lot of malt and a fuck lot of hops for my ales, mostly american hops making the bigger additions at 30 min onwards of boil time, try and get all the flavour and just some bitterness. Most really hoppy beers i try are too resinous and it loses the hop character. I always finish with czech or german hops and if i dry hop i will always add some saaz in small amount and the rest american hops.
This said, the high you get from homebrewed lager man is fucking!!! epic! and you can make em hoppy too just bear in mind the ibu and gravity ratio. So you still get that mellow high from ale just like more chapagney. I spent a whole day drinking beer last week in a country villa and only managed to empty about 2 6 packs the whole day and i was undiscribably buzzed. I was doing some propper terpy dabs too butman homebrew is the fucking TITS!

Man you should get on it. I think cannabis growers have the ability to make good beer if their mother rooms temp doesnt fluctuate much, plus hops are same family as cannabis. The high of a hoppy homebrew to me is like thai weed i used to get in britain. Kinda a mellow trippiness i dunno man.

Ha nice, i like drinking with people tho i will drink 2 or 3 beers at home if i want a nice buzz and some dabs, but the greatest pleasure is having people try it and as you say theres no better gift. Someone;s bday coming up? no worries 6 pack of Professor Bacterio's Potion! Have you thought about growing hops?
