verry right cause you get a deff in soil you can flush in hydro you have to switch the whole resevoir deff more expensive but you do get top quality results

u can achieve smaller pot buy letting you soil not go super dry cause them roots stretch to find water but i keep mine in a small pot till flower then into a 3 gal pot until harvest no problems

I dont know but i would veg for 8 weeks and flower for 8 weeks. get them started in cups, when you start to see the roots at the bottom transplant into 1 gallon pots until your ready to start flowering. then i would transplant into 3-5 gallon pots.

The tent I'm looking at is just 120cm/4ft tall, so i'm thinking lowryders to begin with. Then maybe trying to tie down the tops if i decide to try growing something that grows to be maybe 6-7ft tall before harvesting.. Does that sound ok?

topping and lsting for sure will help out alot i turned my rhino which can grow to 6 ft i kept it at 2 ft with topping lst and still harvested over 2lbs from it

yeah thats fine but the light has to stay 11 inches from the top of the plants to make them have the full sunlight effect with a 400w i just realized i said veg for 8 weeks and flower 8 weeks but i ment veg for 4-6 weeks and flower 8 weeks. it should keep them short enough for you not to run into problems

WOW that's gotta be my abition aswell then!:) I see definite pro's in having a bigger tent, but since it's just for my own use, I might want something a bit more stealthy you know..
If i can yield maybe 1-1.5lb wet from a 80x80x120cm tent, that would be amazing.

Aha, which means I could never let a plant get more than 1m tall..

Not if ya want anywhere's from a 2m to 3 m plant lol usually the switch happens at 4 -6 weeks depending on tent or room restrictions and you dont count your plant as in flower till 7-10 days after the 12/12 flip (let the plant make its changes) unless you go 12/12 from the start

So what's the easiest way that I can limit the growth of the plant without it being harmed/stressed? Can i force a plant that would usually grow to be 2m, to stay below 1m?
