OK, so I've done massive amounts of research for hours about bubble cloning. I haven't had much success with it, but I realized that I read something different on almost every single bubble cloning forum! So far I've read the following:
The res should be lightproof, or algae can grow. However, I've seen plenty of people with clear res' with no algae problems and near 100% success. I've read temps should be cold, warm, and everything in between. From what I've seen, temps can range from 65 to 80 degrees, and people are still successful. I've read to add nothing to the water, no nutes whatsoever. But then I see that tons of people add superthrive, rooting compounds, weak nute solutions... blah blah. I've read you need TONS of bubbles, but I've seen plenty of people with weak pumps and giant res'. Then I've read to put the stems all the way in the water, but I've read to keep them out and just have bubbles pop near them. Seriously, there's gotta be some method to this!
So what do you guys do? And what's your success rate?
Thanks!!!!!
