...when a plant dies

If a small plant (2 pairs of trueleaves, about 5cm tall) around 3 weeks old died (of overwatering or just about anything else) would it fall over? Or could it continue to stand and just sort of dry out and wither away?

I know most people would cull out a plant that was in such harsh shape but after watching a young seedling recover from a very deteriorated state, I'd really like to see what they're capable of and what I can learn from them... if they go 2-3 weeks without growing, and continue to lose their color (turning pale yellow) are they just really unwell or could they already be dead?

pale yellow is certainly a sign that the plant is sick. drooping plants can be a sign of over watering as well as under watering. in my opinion i would not do anything but keep light on it for a few days. sometimes you just gotta stop caring so much and give them time to do their thing:)

What you could do is, let the soil dry out and mist the plants so the roots can dry out abit. get it on a 20/4 cycle and they will come back, pot is very hardy
