When buying seeds....

Hello all, i know how to sex a plant pretty easy, so when buying seeds is it better to get feminized or normal seeds, is there a difference in quality or not?

I have always grown fems with no problems! I have grown Nirvana, Dinafem, G13, Reserva Privada, DNA, TH seeds, Barney's Farm, Cali Connection, CH9, Connoisseur Genetics, and Emerald Triangle. Potency is more about genetics than anything else. As for size, DNA's Sour Cream was huge. Flavor and smell, I would have to go with G13's Blue OG. High, Nirvana's AK48 and DNA's Sour cream were the best.

nice post thanks! Looking for a good cheese with a high yield if u have any input for that.

Reg the best, get more phenotypic expressions that way, then pick your poison. Fem will still vary a bit and also be less wasted time, money, and space but still be good meds.

Say what? Let's say you have space to veg out 10 plants til sex. Regs you just went from 10 to 5. Fems you have 10 girls to choose from.

I think it comes down to personal preference. I prefer regs because I can make my own seeds, but grow a lot of fems too. I read all the time about how fems are more hermie prone, but I haven't noticed this in my own personal experience.

Either way is fine.. I'll go to standard seeds if the strain I want is out, save a little here and there.

I'll go fem if the schedule is tight and I'm out of cuts I want.

Now the only thing I've observed for fem seeds is the germination rate is a bit lower than standard seeds.
