When churches become marijuana dispensaries

Churches are buildings are they not? So when they move out, they arent "churches" anymore. No offense to you at all, but seems like the same useless dribble that is printed in 99% of the newspapers and magazines today. People will read anything....

I've actually eaten in this building when it was Steeples restaurant. I don't remember any opposition to serving food and booze in the former church.
Never much objection to a good piss up is there? You 100% right Chris. Stupid story to begin with imo....if that's allowed here.

I used to grow some outdoor in the bush by there.. there's already a dispensary just down the road. the nearby town/city Duncan I believe made a bylaw against new mj businesses, which might explain their location 15 minutes down the road. trying to capture the Duncan (aka Drunkan) market and hold a location in anticipation of the big L. the cowichan valley used to brag about having the most or highest density of pink papers in Canada.

I've worked around several former churches being used for something else and they were really cool buildings...the possibilities! Do you live in the old church?
