when do i harvest?

I have a 400w system and 2 plants in a dwc. The plants have been flowering for almost 2 months now. I remember someone telling me to leech the plants, or switch the water in the reservoir to just water only with no nutes?...I also seem to recall something about when the flowers turn red/orange/etc and recede into the bud is when to harvest, but I would like to get on this 2 wk flush of only water if that is what i need to do, can someone help me out here? thanks

Flushing is not something that every good grower does; it is purely up in the air if it does anything or not for the taste. You need a strong magnifier (like 30X) so you can see the trics. They will go from clear to cloudy then to amber. Amber means the THC has degraded.

where do i get a magnifier suitable to see the trichs?

last 2 weeks before harvest should be pure water for better taste/better burn. this is what ive been told by everyone and what jorge cervantes suggests in both books. great looking plants!
