when do i take clones

okay so i switched to flower like 4 days ago now when they first show there signs of a female can i take clones from her then or should i wait till she fully buds then put her back on 18/6 and let her sprout more branches and take cuttings from that? i want the most yeild i can this time so if taking clones now will decrease yeild then i will wait?

another question is is there any other stuff i can use besides rooting compound? its hard to find around here i looked every where and i found this planting and transplanting starting solution but u mix it with water and water the plants with it will that work if not is there any thing i can use to maybe act as a rooting compound i heard of asprin some people say that works?

also where on a plant is the first place to show its sex the top or on the bottom at the node?

ok i would take clones now fron the lower growth of the plant as for rooting hormone im not sure where you are but most like wallmart home depot sorta places have rooting powder or it takes longer but just put em in water did you check the grow faq??? i usually see sex in the mid top area first not sure if thats where shows first but thats where i alwayse notice it like 2 nodes from the top

Hey BUD...

You can take clones whenever you want...

But if you take clones when the plant is in the flowering stage, it will take longer o root and can take 3 - 4 weeks before it reverts back to veg stage...

If you are going to take clones in the flowering cycle.. I recommend rockwool, rooting hormone and wilt spray... with 19-5 lighting under CFLs... the wilt spray allows clones to last a long time!

If you are not sure about the sex of your plants.. just mark the clones and corresponding plants you took them from... you can make little flags with masking tape and tooth picks.... and then when the plants show their sex, you throw out the males..

thank you i took 4 last night but them in fish tank with clear wrap over top do i want the humidty really high i heard that from some people just want to make sure
