When do they start stinking?

Im on day 19.. i dont have any smell at all.. If i rub my fingers on the leafs.. I can smell a little dankness but im wondering when they will start to really stink..

Also.. if i started in a starter plug and put the plug in a 3 gallon pot.. When can i transplant? When the roots come through the bottom???

The plants really start stink about half way through flowering, and they get very pungent the last few weeks before harvest.



You want to transplant the plant in the 3g to something else? If the plant is using a ton of water and you can't keep the soil moist more than 2 days, then I would transplant. It should have a very thick stem and be a strong looking plant to use up the 3g space in 19 days from seed. Do not transplant if in flowering.

I am new at indoor growing but from experience from my outdoor gardens,they started stinkin about 3 months in and about 4 feet tall, but indoors might be different

odor depends on strain, some strains reek, some others have so little odor you can barely smell them

im doing 12/12 from seed to harvest and mine started stinking to where i could open my closet door and get hit with a blast of smell, about a week before they showed their sex. Now they have shown their sex and each has like 4 pistols and they stink alot.

im growing 4 strawberry cough.. and its day 20 veg now. Will 3 gallon buckets be big enough for 4.5 feet tall plants you think?? I plan on flowering in about 1.5-2 more weeks. So they will have vegged for about a month + a little more.

But I swear.. only 1 plant looks like a month old plant the others look not as big.. There not even more then 5 inches tall yet... How long will it take to get them like 12 inches tall.. thats when i would like to flower...


Also.. im using FF OF soil... do you think its ok to start feeding them 1/4 stregnth FF grow big .. im on day 20
