When does weed hit growth spurts?

Thing is iv grown before with great outcomes. Iv had a plant like this in the past that was small, shitty to be honest and had a fucked up start. but turned out to be one of my best grows....(check attachments) and was a good plant. Was smaller than this at first. 2 months into it she started pumping. so please dont give me that get rid of it read first... I know what to do. just after some helpful tips and information. The plant i have now is already starting to make signifigant progress and i will upload pics through out the grow

Throw males away unless you're trying to make seeds.

A plant will hit growth spurts In the sense it feeds heavily at times. A tad bit over half way through flower you will get 1-2 weeks of heavy feeding. This is the most crucial time of flower. Bud structure depends on conditions during this time.

Let me know how it smokes! I would never waste my time on a male for inhalation. Males produce pollen, girls produce thc as a way to protect their offspring from predators

males produce no thc? i think they do just small amounts. dont they considering high cbd leveks good for pain?

You need about another 5-6 weeks in veg before u put them to flower.

Hey op
Your plants will go through a spurt .once they get everything they need .(good medium. Good lights. Good food and temps.)
Untill they get all of that they Will seace to amaze you.

I curntly just had a super rough start on my plants. Bad enough for me to want to kill them
But I fixed my probablems are there fucking banging now .
If you go look at my journal you'll see how they can go from near death to striving In a matter of a week.

Once you get your plant to look like it should then start thinkin about flower
And making hash

My plants are roughly the same age as yours and had a super bad start but now they look like

I don't understand why the question just can't be answered, if not for the OP then for the next new grower readin it?

Growth spurts happen after a good water/feed, if done right and as already said if the plant is ready for it, yours is not yet ready. Never prune a seedling and don't fuss over it. you should be waterin bout 5 to 7 oz's once a week judgin by the pic you posted with no nutes (since your in soil) When it gets to 5 or 6 nodes give it a good waterin and you'll see a growth spurt, usually the next day

and Males do have THC and do get you high, I breed, tis foolish to pick a male for breedin that you have not smoked lol

why would you think that's a good idea? we've been answering questions from you for days but this one is off the charts

OP - ignore the haters. You've clearly done something funky just seeing as your plant is so tiny but it may be the soil or that it's not had enough light etc. If you're serious you should keep at it. You'll keep learning as you go. Looking at your other pic(how old is that one?) I'd guess this time it's due to soil but again, the tap-root could have been damaged or something else entirely may have shocked it.
Don't worry about nutes or anything at this stage. Just water. If you're using tap-water you need to fill a container 24 hours before you use it so chemicals (chlorine etc) can evaporate from it. You want to pH it too if pos. Just grab a $5 test kit from your nearest pet shop.

There aren't really growth spurts with them..except maybe the stretch in flower. They crank along pretty fast though once they have everything they need available to them.
Also don't flower yet. Keep vegging for a few more weeks at least.

I've had a plant that had similar stunted growth but came back and grew to 5+ ft plant. Mine was outdoor grow tho, but u hav the advantage of vegging for as long as u want. Let it get some size before you switch to flowering.

Btw I hate seeing all these ppl saying "u need to read more/do more research" cuz thts the whole point of this website and the point posting is to answer questions for the neebies to read, JS

Its easy to veg. That plant is starving in that pic.

I would venture to say it yellowed and died.
