When is Starcraft 2 coming out?

No idea. Blizzard is terrible with deadlines, they never make them, and never meet them. Starcraft 2 has been "coming out" for so god damned long now. So has Starcraft Ghost for that matter. But you can bet your ass it'll be sweet when it does finally get here

Holy shit, I didn't know Starcraft Ghost is still scheduled to come out. For some reason I thought they scrapped that. Anyone believe SC2 will come out in 2009?

Did they really scrap Ghost? Idk, all I remember is a bunch of my friends were mad pumped about it, and I pre-ordered it for my friend for his bat mitzvah, but it never came out. so i dunno what's goin on w/that.

yeah they definitely dropped ghost. seemed like a terrible idea anyways. blizz does best with realtime strategy as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah man.
I love rts games but in all reality since Dark Reign 2 has gone offline nothing has really got me going.
I have bought most of the new rts games and liked none of them really very much anyway.
Yeah they look good but they are full of holes and exploits and stupid ai etc.. etc...
Lets hope that blizzard are making sure that no one can say this about their new game.
I will buy it anyway and see what its like:joint:

I know blizzard will do an AMAZING job with this game. They have to live up to the hype because if they fail in the slightest they will ruin their name. The original Starcraft is a recognized national sport in Korea. That's how big the hype is for SC2!

Yeah i recently bought red alert 3 and all though it looked great and was fun to play in the end that was all that it was,fun.
No serious gaming allowed,totally dumb ai and game engine and in fact i noticed that the ai will actually crash and is not ai at all,just a mere script that flounders and fails after you have defended against 3 or 4 attacks it just fails,pathetic really:joint:

yeah, red alert's good, but not nearly the same. warcraft, imo, is way way better than starcraft. Warcraft III that is.

Yeah, when I went over to Korea, Starcraft was crazy popular. The older kid in the family (like 13ish) watched it all night long on the big screen TV. like, the professional guys or w/e in tournaments. crazy.

warcraft 3 is the only game thats entertained me 4 years straight.

I couldnt get on with wc3 either.
Beasts and goblins isnt for me.
I bought a game the other day that was a bit like that called soulstorm,you guys would probably like that if you like wc3.
I miss the basic simplicity of dark reign 2:joint:

blizzard forgets to wipe their own ass it takes them so long to do things..

i dont expect a 2009 release at all.

and dont get me started with diablo 3..
