when is the earlyest you can clone?

i have three plants its been about 3 and half or 4 weeks and my largest one had lower branches with two nodes and all that for cutting but it was just kinda small.were these two clones cut too soon?

I would say it was a little early. I usually wait until the plant is 14"-16" tall before taking cuttings. That is not to say that these 2 are not viable. They may be just fine, just a little hard on the mother.

I go by 5 to 6 nodes tall before taking a clone off the top of a seedling

well all the clones took and my mothers are fine and i just setup my 150 watt high pressure sodium light
